I am starting the process now to donate my eggs to a couple that the female does not have viable eggs. I feel I am doing a good thing for them, and I couldn't imagine if I couldn't have children. What do you think?

This process does NOT make me infertile, just to clear that up. Thanks

I did this myself last Spetember. My recipient sent me a card saying thank you so much for giving us this chance. It said it all to me.
It is one of the most selfless gifts you can give anyone. If you would like to read my journey through egg donation and my reasons for doing it, feel free to email me toddlegirl@hotmail.com

Well from the looks of your other questions you look like you have a daughter, so I'm assuming you're done having children? If so this is a GREAT idea. I'm a frequent miscarrier and I would do anything (okay not anything) to have a child. So I could only imagine what this woman is going through not being able to produce viable eggs. To the girl that stated God will give children to those he wants to have children, that's bogus. God made this type of process possible, so maybe God is keeping this lady safe from other medical processes or wants this woman to be even more thankful for having this child. If you're contemplating doing this, this is God speaking to you and I think you should follow. I hope you make this woman happy and good luck and God Bless!

If you can do it I think that is a wonderful gift. Of course the pay is not bad for that gift. I have two children and would have given my eggs but I am to old now. If you have an oppertunity to provide a loving couple the change to have a child you are giving the gift of life. That reward out weighs the any money you will recieve.

I think this process Is called snowflake, I heard something about It. I think It's a very wonderful and great thing that you can do for a couple that cannot get pregnant. I plan to donate my baby's placenta when she Is born In Oct. to St. Jude's Medical Hospital. ((GoOd LuCk)) and I wish you the best of luck If you plan to donate, It's the most greatest thing we can do for each other to give instead of asking for anything. =^..^=

This is the most wonderful , generous , gift you can give any infertile couple . If you haven't been there , you don't know what it is like. Egg extraction is not so painful , you get medication. We need many more ladies like you , and you wont be infertile afterwards. God bless.

I think it's great. Although I heard it's painful to have eggs extracted. But either way, you're giving the gift of life. What could be better than that?

You are a wonderful person. You will not become sterile by donating your egg. Only that you will attain you menopause a bit earlier (depending on the number of eggs extracted). Your gift will give life to two people and their numberless relatives. Go ahead please.

Against God. If God wished for a woman to bear children, then she would be able to have children.
Those eggs that a woman would give up - would be giving up her own children. Might as well give birth to a hundred babies, call them each their own names, and then give them up for adoption.
There are bigger reasons why some people cannot have children. It doesn't matter how much money they make, or what they've done with their life. It matters that they weren't chosen by God to be a parent. And no matter what they say or what they think, God has better reasons why. Only God sees all.

I'm totally against this idea.
Why would you make yourself sterile in order for someone else to have children? Imagine one day you decided to become a mom.. or your partner wished to become a father. Will you ruin your love life and shatter yourself up with guilt for your prior decision? See, in this case you would be so unfair to someone else, besides yourself. Imagine how much regret you will be experiencing. I'm not talking out of selfishness i swear, but really it does not make sense. You have healthy eggs, another woman does not. That's life, it's normal. She can find any other way to get children without stealing someone else's opportunity to make a happy family.
Besides, the kids she's gonna get, will they be carrying your genes or hers? Will they actually be your baby in medical terms?
I really discourage you. You can be generous to the utmost, but not on your own expense which could affect you till the rest of your life. You are trying to be generous to someone, but at the same time you are injuring yourself big time.
Anyway, you make the decision.
