how can you tell if you are or not??

My boyfriend wants a name that isn't one of those cute baby names that they will have to be stuck with and I like the names that have strong meanings. Any suggestions?

I had my first child last year in oct. my baby was born at 7 months and was stillborn. then specialist who came in said my baby had been dead for at least 2 days. If that was true then my docotr should have know because i had a appt two days before i have given birth i found out the sex of the baby and he told me everything was fine he check the heartbeat butcould not hear one he said everything ws still okay!

I was in line at the bank yesterday, behind a woman and her little boy. He looked about 6 years old. There were about 500 thousand people in line and only two tellers, so I watched this mother-child interaction for awhile.

Every time the kid so much as MOVED, the mom was all over him! One time, the kid just barely touched the little rope thingy and mom said, "...hands off!! and looked at the kid like she was going to kill him or something.

I just want to remind parents that children need a parent, not a warden or a dictator. I've heard of parents who slap their childrens' hands dozens of times a day!! I mean, come on!!! No wonder kids can turn into such screwed up adults.

For the "on your kids case 24 hours a day" parents, or anything close to that, I just want to remind you that what children need is the assurance that they're loved, that they're safe and that they can mess up sometimes. They will love you for it in return. And yes, I'm a parent.

My g-friend & I broke up. On June 18 she was drunk and slept with this kid (I didnt know). On the 26th she took a test and it was negative. On June 28-July 4 she got her period and we slept together on the 28th. Then about mid July we slept together again. Around the 25th or 26th her ovaries were in pain so she took a test on the 27th and it was possitive. Today (August 4) we had an ultrasound done and it looks like a little seed. The nurse said they figure how far along you are by your last period. So SHE WOULD BE 37 DAYS NOW, which was the day we slept together. No way she concieved that very night!? So, first of all sperm lives up to 7 days or so. Second, it can take up to 10 days for the egg to fall to the uterus walls. And third, it can take up to 14 days for a woman to release enough of the chemical for a test to be possitive. Some can girls still menstrate (rarely). Is she that far along since the doctor didnt base it off a test or anything? Can it possibly be his? Do the math

I am almost 38 weeks pregnant and the doctor checked me today and said that my cervix is starting to thin out and all the other doctors said they might not even see back in for my next doctors appt. Does this mean the baby is coming soon? Help!!! I'm scared first baby.
