My g-friend & I broke up. On June 18 she was drunk and slept with this kid (I didnt know). On the 26th she took a test and it was negative. On June 28-July 4 she got her period and we slept together the 1st day. Then about mid July we slept together again. Around the 25th or 26th her ovaries were in pain so she took a test on the 27th and it was possitive. Today (August 4) we had an ultrasound done and it looks like a little seed. The nurse said they figure how far along you are by your last period. So SHE WOULD BE 37 DAYS NOW, which was the day we slept together. No way she concieved that very night!? So, first of all sperm lives up to 7 days or so. Second, it can take up to 10 days for the egg to fall to the uterus walls. And third, it can take up to 14 days for a woman to release enough of the chemical for a test to be possitive. Some can girls still menstrate (rarely). Is she that far along since the doctor didnt base it off a test or anything? Can it possibly be his? Do the math

You cant tell until after the baby is born. There was a girl that had twins at our local (rural) hospital. One baby was black and one was white. she slept with 2 men 5 days apart, she released 2 eggs and one was fertilized by the black dude and one was fertilized by the white dude. TRUE STORY.

First of all let me say how sorry I am for you situation! It could be possible that she concieved that night but she may not have. I think your best bet would be the DNA testing. You can look into invetro testing or wait until the baby is born. Also, this website has a paternity calculator that can give you an estimate of when the baby was conceived based on the birthdate/due date. Also, since you know when her last period was you can probably do a search for conception calendars and get a rough idea of when the conception was. Hope this helps and that things work out for you!

First of all the counting from the last period includes the two weeks there is no baby in there. The conception day is already week 2 and then there is baby. I have a feeling that it is more likely your baby, however if your really concerned take a paternity test to ease your mind. Now the days your adding up....are general. Usually there is only a few days a woman can concieve. Yes you can menstrate while pregnant, but if she is only 37 days on an ultrasound....it would more likely be yours. If it was the other kids it would be a two month baby you were looking at. Do the math. Also those dates are just basic guidelines. They are not exact and perfect. You will tell more with more ultrasounds, but having worked in the radiology dept...I would really assume it is your baby according to the dates you gave me and the description of the baby you described.

There is a very real possibility that you are indeed this baby's father. Most women are fertile on about day 10 to 14 of their cycle. They calculate the due date from the first day of her last period. That doesn't mean the baby was concieved on that date. So to calculate the baby's due date, you count back three months from the first day of her last period and add 7 days. The baby is due on or about April 5, 2007.

I doubt very much it is the other guys baby. You forgave her enough to sleep with her some more, so get over her indisgression and support her with this baby. You'll be glad you did.

Even though she is considered 37 days pregnant, the actual sperm and egg connecting does not occour till approx 7-14 days after that, so she would likely have concieved that child around the first or second week of July. So, it was likely your mid July romp that actually produced the baby. Congrats, I think it's yours. The time before that is factored into a 40 week pregnancy, but you are really only pregnant for 38 of those weeks.

I think it's very possible it's yours. You were the last one with her. Yeah you can get your period and still be pregnant but I don't THINK that happens very often. When you guys slept together in mid July she was probably ovulating then, which sounds about right since her last period was at the ending of June, beginning of July. The pain in the ovary area was possibly her body starting to make room for what's to come. Even if the sperm lives up to 7 days that doesn't mean it HAS to. It's also possible to get an early positive pregnancy test. It depends on how much of the hormone is in her urine. I say it's possible. That my 2 cents.

Looking at your analogy, she had sex w/ this other kid BEFORE her period, which means the baby would be yours. And if she was fertile on the 1st day you got back together and had sex, then she could have gotten pregnant. There are cases of women getting pregnant the 1st time they have sex, so on the 1st day you were back together is not so far fetched.
It sounds to me like you are possibly looking for an out?????
If you still have doubts after the baby is born, you can always have a paternity test. However, if you feel like you are going to stay w/ her and be together, will it really matter who the father is biologically?

because of fact the calender ends because of fact they predicted the start of a clean worldwide. So technically maximum issues are going to be wiped out and he worldwide will start up returned (i'm enormously specific). specific, different activities have been predicted by ability of the Mayans that have come genuine. and likewise it is the date while the solar is going to align with the milky way and a few thing will virtually particularly ensue and it must be the worldwide ending. additionally there is a few thing approximately solar flares and stuff. Scientists are anticipating on that date there will be many organic failures occurring. some human beings belive it and a few human beings do not. i assume in basic terms time will tell. :p

Most likely it is yours. The likelihood of her having her period a week and a half after getting pregnant is extremely slim. Especially if it was a normal period. If it is so important for you to know, the ONLY way to know for sure is with a paternity test once the child is born. What is more important is what happens to the baby, the girlfriend, and you (in that order) for the future of the child. Please find a mature adult (that is, someone who is responsible and has raised children) to help you work through this. Good luck.

Well, if your g-friend is sleeping with other men...then, god only knows....and you will only know when the baby is born and you can do a paternity test...
My advice to you....
1. decide if you want to be apart of this baby's life...with out knowing if you are the father or not
2. decide if you want to be apart of this babys life if you are not the true biological father.
3. go to counseling with your g-friend if you decide to stay with her...you want the best life for this child...and the only way is to get past any anger or concerns you have....try counseling.

I wish the best of luck for you....I always feel bad for those men that get in-tangled with women like this....be aware that there are many women out there that will get pregnant just to keep a man around...hoping to fix things....which sadly, doesn't always work for the best.

A pregnancy test is taking into account the amount of HGC in the blood, that is how they base the "age" of the child, in addition to the first day of her last period. It is possible the child is yours based on the dates you gave.

Only true way to tell is to go by an ultrasound.

I was thought to have conceived in late October and was due at the end of July ((24)), but as time went on, the date of birth was pushed off to August 2 ((Almost a week after the original predicted date)).

I doubt the child is his but the only way to be sure is a paternity test.
