Um Russia because they have so many babys there that no one want and you would be giving them a home.

You sound like you're shopping for a commodity, not adopting. Adoption is a serious issue, and making the decision to raise a child in a culture that is brand new to them is a big undertaking.

If you are seriously considering adoption, check some books out of the library and start studying up on what type of adoption arrangements may be right for you. But you don't get to just pick a country of origin at the drop of a hat. There are life-long issues to consider.

I would adopt from Korea because the babies are placed in long term foster care situations - meaning they stay with the same woman from birth until they are adopted out instead of being placed in an orphanage. Studies show that children in these types of situations have much better attachment to their adoptive parents than children who are raised in an orphanage setting because they never learn to attach to a single primary caregiver.

Well it's up to you but my cousin is from Russia and i love her just like i do all my other cousins...but I like Russia because it may take awhile to get a child from there but they make sure the kids from there are going home with the right people. So if your good with kids then I would try there.

USA

Hundreds of thousands of children in our own country need a loving family. But yet, too many of our citizens look abroad for children to adopt. Where does that leave our own children of our own country??!! Still, without loving parents.

What a shame to waste such a thing as American pride.

the United States of America, why adopt in other countries when there are plenty of kids that need to be adopted living right here.

funny but I think I would choose a country where I would have a greater chance of the child resembling me. Maybe US, England, Ireland, etc...
Although I don't know how rational that is....

I would chose Turkey but only because my husband is from there. Otherwise I would chose China because there are so many little girls in need of homes there.
