it's not really an age question, because all babies develop differently. after you have done cereal for a while you move onto the fruits and veggies after they are used to that you should be able to try introducing a little at a time to see what he can handle.
you will know what is right for your baby by this time. if he spits it up you will know he's not ready, try again in a week or two.

I think aroudn 6 to 8 months... I usuallly do it around 8. Once you know the foods your baby is familiar with and handles well, then you can introduce a new food (like pureed meat) a little at a time. If your baby has tummy aches or doesn't respond well, then it may be too early. Ask your pediatrician.

Between 6 and 8 months, and after they have eaten a variety of fruits and vegetables without incident.

Our doctor gave us the ok at 7 months

I would definitely check with your Pediatrician first instead of asking yahoo answers. Your baby's health should be left to a doctor.
