Pregnancy & Parenting - 13 July 2006

Soon after my delayed period and suspective inflation of my abdomen, I asked my husband to buy a pregcolor card. There were two instructions. One if there is a pink strip along the mark C is distinctly seen then NOT pregnant. Two if there are two pink bands along the marks C and T engraved along side, then I am pregnant. But alas! there were a single faded pink band along the mark C. My question is if these tests are at all trusty and if so then should I have tested once again to expect prominant pink band. However I must disclose that the test was taken place two hours later after I had collected my Urine. One more thing, After three days and later I suddenly had mens and now I am feeling belly-ach. What should I do, I am totally purplexed!

Ok here's the deal. I just found out I'm pregnant. I'm probably about 4 weeks. I haven't been to the doctor yet, of course I'll ask him when I go.
I've been trying to concieve so I've been taking prenatal vitamins.

I've noticed within the last week that my Urine is BRIGHT Yellow (Lemon Yellow). Before I got pregnant it would be a dark yellow if I got dehydrated...I am having to drink LOADS of water each day to keep it clear. Now I have to pee constantly.

This didn't happen during my last pregnancy (which ended in a miscarriage)

Is this normal? Is it hormone related? Just wondering how many other people experienced this...

I'm fairly certian it's b/c my body's working harder but I still want to know...

I have been spotting for over a week. I have a little bit of cramping but not much. The spotting ranges from pink to brown and red. My doc ran my hcg levels and they were normal. I am 6 1/2 weeks along an scared that I am about to miscarry. I spot more after i work or walk for a long time.

i was diagnosed with annorexia about a year and a half ago
i mean i have it under control most of the time but i still do a lot of sports and excercise i havent gotten underneath 100 pounds since i was in the hospital right now in 103 i now that isnt good this is going to be hard being PG and dall i was just think of that right now when i went into the kitchen thinking about eating my fiance is is supportive of me trying to control my problem but im afraid he is going to get fusrtated with me and this whole thing but i will have to really keep in touch with my doctor and all huh?

My husband’s mother is unstable in so many ways, my husband thinks if we died she would try to take our children and be their “mommy.”

We both agreed if anything happened to us, my mother and father would take our children as they are decent parents and have agreed to the arrangement.

My husband’s father is dead, and his parents were divorced and his mother has not remarried due to her many issues.

I want to get a will that has our selection of guardians in case we should die before our children become adults. My husband wants one for this reason and also because we do own property and have a decent savings going.

We have no children now, but should I get this done as soon as I give birth?

Who has one? I want to protect our future children from a grandmother who was a horrible mother to her only son.

I am 3 months pregnant and have been unable to find a prenatal vitamin that does not make me sick. A few people have told me to try Flintstones vitamins, but I'm not sure if they are ok for me to take. Any ideas or thought? Thanks!

I just gave birth 6 weeks ago. Initially I was breastfeeding for about 2-3weeks, my milk supply decreases after that which I stop breastfeeding. My period then came yesterday and I thought would be my normal period? When I was discharged, I wasn't bleeding alot, just discharge (like 3rd-4th day of your period) I had severe bleeding when I gave birth where I lost alot of blood.

Right now, my period is like 2-3 times more than my usual period. I used tampon and have to change like 10 mins after inserting. The bleeding was terrible. It's not continuous though, at certain timing the blood like just rush all out? I had flesh red blood and lots of blood clots. Is this normal? If it is, how long will I have this period?

im 12 wk 3 dy pregnant and havent quit smokin entirely..... the baby is ok, i was listening to the heartbeat on my doppler earlier.. anyways, i smoke up to 6 cigarttes a day. i feel so guilty. any tips on how to quit????is cold turkey safe??? i been smokin 6 yrs.

I am trying to conceive. I am 26 and I already have a 3 year old daugter. My husband and I have benn married for 4 years. We feel we are ready to have another baby. When should we have sex. With a 3 yr. old around it is hard to find the time. How should go about having sex if she is always around. Can we do it at home in our bedroom. Or should we do it when she is sleeping or not even home. She does not go to school yet. She will not start school until September, but it is 3 days a week, half a day. And we both work. If you had sex when you had another child around when did you do it. And what is the best time of day to have sex. Every answer will help. NO rude ones please!!

i am preganant by my ex. bf. we ere both drunk when we had sex i had a blood test,urine, and sonagram there is a heart beat so i am positive i am pregnant. this is second time he has gotten me pregnant last time i miscarried at 5 months and was depressed and upset lead to me partying and drinking to much and having sex with him again it was only that one night and now i am about a month along or little more. i dont really believe in abortion but am scared i will miscarry and go through a that pain again? am i at risk for another miscarriage since it's back to back with my last pregnancy by a month.?

My mom and step-dad are driving my husband and I crazy. It's gotten worse as we've had kids. Any time we try to talk about or express concerns with problems they completely blow up, avoid talking about it, then continue doing it. My step-dad never had biological children of his own, so I feel a lot of times like they are trying to treat our children like their own. My step-dad is not very responsible or trustworthy and my mom is very critical and self absorbed. Regardless of their behaviors we still let them babysit quite often. But they still do whatever they want with our kids and they drop-by whenever they want. Now that I'm about to give birth to their 3rd grandchild, they call and stop-by constantly and insist that they get to watch the other two when we go to the hospital. We don't want them to watch our kids, but we don't want them showing up at our house or the hospital. What do we do to solve our relationship and this problem?

my almost 2 month old son was surcumsized yesterday and last night he bled a lil.well actuly a little more than a little but still i took him to the er and it quit mostly. they sent him home. showed it to his doc and she said its ok just keep comming up each day to watch it. it looks like a bloody mess unlike my older son did. is this normal or something to worry about?. i just worry alot about my kids.
but should it look so much like ground beef? the head isnt cut by any means i could see that when he got it dont. but theres a bloody mess around the plastic thing and it looks awefull. i hate to see him in pain like that and we had none of these problems with are first son and are first son was 3 months old when he had it done and of course as u know are second son was almost 2 months when he had his done yesterday
