Try looking up baby names online. Ethan and Aidan are like the top baby names in the United States. I wanted to name my son Ethan, but then I realised that the chances of 2 or 3 other people in his class being named the same were probably pretty good. I think my favorite baby name is Derek Connor, that's my sons name though! So now copy cats! lol

I think Ethan is a great name for a boy. Max is a good name, but only for a baby or little boy. When he grows up I don't think Max would be the best or most professional name. Go with Ethan.
As for my favorite boy names I love Gavin!

I prefer Max over Ethan but my favorite boy's name is Christian or Kristoper (with a K).
For girls I like the name Journey. I met a girl with that name once and it's stuck with me.

I like Ethan, it is not as common as Max.
