i spotted throughout my entire pregnancy. it doesn't necessarily mean you are going to miscarry. plus it would be a good idea to limit your activity some. if you notice that you spot more after certain things like walking long distances then reduce how much you walk and reduce how often you walk. if it's after work, try to find ways to limit your activity at work (depending on what you do for a living). if you can talk to your doctor about this and see what they suggest. my doctor suggested that i do my best to limit my activity no matter what. my husband helped me around the house in regards to laundry, lifting, carrying things, cleaning, walking the dog, etc. my spotting continued to the point of like a light menstraul period through my entire pregnancy. my doctor told me that some women are just like that is all but to still limit my activity and take it easy. it helped and i did not miscarry my son, thank goodness.

Yes you could be. I started spotting and then miscarried within two days. My miscarriage was just like anormal period though, no really bad cramps or anything and I was about as far along as you are. My doctor told me lay down, put your feet up and stay that way. If you are going to mis carry you will and if you aren't you won't but the more your run around and stress about it the more likely it will happen. If you do have a mis carriage make sure you don't take it lightly. I hit a BAD depression when I had mine and it took all of my friends and family to point it out for me to get help. Iam now on anti-depresants and two months pregnant. I am still concerned about mis caring again. BUT just remeber if you do it is your body's way of saying the baby would not have been healthy and happy anyway....I know it is hard, just relax and see what happens. I will keep you inmy thoughts.

Some spotting is normal. I had a miscarriage a while back and I spotted for about a week maybe a little longer. But I could really tell something was wrong when I started to get severe cramping then I called the hospital they told me that if I started bleeding really heavy to come in about 10 minutes later it started and I was rushed to the ER...hope everything goes well. Don't be alarmed unless you have cramps so bad you can't move.

I had three miscarriages and a 13 week extopic pregnancy.

First of all keep in mind that spotting in early pregnancy is actually fairly common so don't automatically think the worst.

Make an appointment with your doctor and ask for a vaginal ultrasound. He/she can do it right in the office.

If you are miscarrying the spotting will gradually get worse and you will start to pass clots. With all three miscarriages my cramps were no worse than my regular menstral cramps. If it is a miscarriage and you are RH negative be sure you go in and get a RoGam (sp) shot.

I will keep you in my prayers!

It is not uncommon for some spotting to occur early in pregnancy. Cramping along with spotting usually is not a good sign. Did your OBGYN or midwife do an ultrasound? I would want to be sure that the pregnancy is not ectopic and that the amniotic sack is properly attached to the uterine wall. I would mention that it is worse after working and exercise. I would want more reassurance from the doctor, myself. You can not be too careful!

When a fetus spontaneously miscarries it is usually because it is not viable, especially early in a pregnancy. If this should happen, relax and in a few months try again. What will be will be and worrying will not make it any better.

Maybe not. If the doctor says your HCG levels are normal. Then you should be fine. Remember if you're in doubt, insist on seeing a doctor. It's better to be safe then sorry.

ask your doctor if there is anyway he can take you out of work and put you on bed rest to see if it makes a difference, tell him that you are scared of loosing the baby, he can take you out, and you still get paid its just a medical leave, i think you get paid a little less but not that much. my friend had to go out for simular reasons. so i would look into that, and just do as less as possible, if you dont have to go places then dont go, if you can rest in bed do it as much as possible. they say that it is normal to bleed but that does not mean that you still cant have a mis carriage. make sure you drink lots of water. good luck.

I don't think so. I think that if a miscarriage happens, then you know right away. Sometimes the baby falls out (don't mean to gross you out). If not then there will be certain signs. Just go to your doctor regularly and ask the doctor questions...Whatever it is, I'm sure it's not a miscarriage.

It is important to get rest at this time in your pregnancy. As long as you are not in pain, and keep your feet up and rest, you will most likely be okay. If you have a short cervix, you could end up in bed through your intire pregnancy. Resting strengthens your cervix.
