Pregnancy & Parenting - 13 July 2006

I am 5 months pregnant with my first child. Yesterday I experienced a sensation, like pain only it didn't feel like I was hurting. It sort of felt like my baby was having a panic attack or something, like it didn't hurt me, it felt weird and "wrong". Very strong feelings that lasted for about 15-45 seconds, then there would be a break, then it would happen again. IT did this about 5 times. My husband tried to tell me it was contractions, but at 5 months? It came in waves. Like, a rush of spasm or something, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the baby was afraid or hurting. What is this pain/sensation?? Can the baby pull on the umbilical cord or anything? To make this feeling? I mean, can he grab on to anything inside the uterus to make me feel like he's trying to fall out, being squeezed, etc?

(I am going to see a doctor on the 27th of July. But I would like answers now, and if this is NOT normal and if it IS serious, then I will go to the ER.)

We've tried putting a onesy on him to keep his hands out of the diaper, but he still manages to get them in there and then he pees the bed.

I don't think it's really the taste of the toothpaste because I can brush my front teeth fine, but when I move to my back teeth, I immediately start gagging and start feeling nauseated. It takes FOREVER to get my teeth brushed and I feel like I'm not even getting it done right. Anyone else experience this? What should or can I do, if anything?

I've always been told you ovulate on day 14 and you can only get pregnant on days 14, 15, and 16. That's it. But my breasts are always sore on day 21 - 23 (a sign of ovulation?). My period has always started on day 28. When did I get pregnant? My last period started on June 3rd.

I am super happy with my married life. My husband and I have been together for 5 years and married for a year and a half. We plan to get pregnant next year.

I don't want to be a wife that neglects her husband when her child is born. I want to have a baby and establish a routine so we both feel more comfortable with a new baby in the house.

After that I want to spend one night a week alone so we can do things alone. And I want a set time everyday when we can spend quality time together without a baby.

Someone told me a selfish mother would do this, but I love my husband and after our children and raised and have moved away I still want to be married, so its important to me to make sure we find ways to bond and remain close.

I still want to be husband and wife and not just mom and dad. That to me is the most important thing in a family, its what keeps a family together!

How do you find ways to focus on your spouse and remain a happy couple?

he has been fighting for custody for his son, the love of my life. missed his court date yesterday and she got full custody. then he steals 200.00 from his girlfriend and blows it up his nose. i put him in treatment when he was 18. my only thought is i will never be able to see that beautiful boy and i am just dying inside. help!!!!! i just want to give up with him. he has hurt his family so many times. i am to the point of kicking him out of my life. he is my only son and i have always been there for him, but, now i don't know.

Hey guys
I had sex with my bf a day before my period last month june. I am on the pill but i skipped it and double up the next day. About 3-4 days i had some spotting but did not think anything of it ... i though my period come early the spotting was only for a day... that never ever happen to me before and i missed pills before and double up and i was always on time. So now its been 2 weeks that i feel, dizzy,feel like i am going too faint, headaches, lost of appitate, constipated and lots of cramps...i was late 2 days this month for my period(july) so i took a pregnancey test and come out negative.... my mom said i should take my moring pee and i did it yesterday moring and come out positive .... i was suprise as i been on the pill for 7 month so just to make sure i took another one this morning and now it's negative and i have bleeding that is brownish in color it kinda looks like my period .... am i pregnant or not..
i dont know what to think after the positve and negative test

How does the size of the breasts increase ......i dint used to wear bras while i was at home and i started with sports bras in my teens ...to date i wear minimizer look bras and dont wear a bra when i m at home ......can not wearing a bra most of the time increase its size and thus if the size increases this way .....can it be reduced naturally......is it very important to wear a bra all the time though not wearing it makes ur boobs loose.......and no more can i wear sports bra ....i m 23 now and if i wear sports or minimizer looks .....it does not help support my breasts and i feel a kind of loose in that area...what kind of bra shud be worn when u go 4 gym.....the size of boobz has increased from cup size b to d and i never wear d cup bra which makes the fitting look akward ..dont know what shud i do but i cant make my boobs look highlightened

I am totally against abortion, and it angers me when in a society like todays'day young people just sleep around and don't think about the consequences like STDs and anwanted pregnancies and they see abortion as an easy way out. I was just wondering if any of you got pregnant (unplanned) and thought about abortion, but reconsider it and end up having the child? can you share your personal stories?

Ok well latley Ive been haveing mood swings Id wake up in the middle of the night and cry or I yell at anyone or id be sad then all of a sudden happy.
