i think that's really cool, you have the sort of uncommon first name folllowed by the strong biblical middle name. very strong all-around name.

Cade Matthew doesn't flow good. If you like those names, I would change the order to Mattew Cade. Try saying them a few times and you'll see what I mean. Other than that, the names are beautiful!!
Good luck!!

Cadence Matthew sounds like a girl's name, which doesn't seem like your intention.
I do like the name Cade, since it reminds me of cadence, poetry, but also a rebellious masculine sensibility as if he might play guitar in a band. The strength as someone said about Matthew being biblical only enhances this effect (similar to Dave Matthew in sound, don't know if this was intentional).
I myself have attempted to create interesting names, although for the purpose of creating a pen name or as a title for a character in an adventure game or piece of writing. For example I thought of Eucaleh Clochs, which is a little outlandish but has some resemblance to Cade in the use of vowels.

I prefer Cayden (or Kaiden) Matthew or Matthew Cade.
Cade is a nice name but it just sounds too short, as if it is a shortened version of something. I could see a Cade being asked all the time when is their real name!

It sounds too official. I see a tiny boy all grown up and serious with a big cowlick on back and the big round harry potter glasses. I see a kid getting picked on in school. I adore the name Matthew. Cade with a hard C and a long a, (thanks dude), sounds like something you spit after drinking milk. Ignoring the e, = Cad, it turns into a nasty individual, a scoundrel.
My honest opinion, Keep Matthew. It is the best little guy's name ever, and lose the ca ca word.

I love it! I loved Cade when pregnant with my second girl. (We didn't know what we were having.) My husband nixed it because he is a HUGE Chicago Bears fan and they had a rookie quarterback a few years ago named Cade McKnown. My hubby had a bad taste in his mouth for that player and thus, the name Cade.

I dislike Cade, because the sounds of that call are used extremely typically those days. distinct boy's names of overdue have the 'ay' sound in them, or they have a in demand 'ok' sound, both one in all which this call has. that's getting a touch boring, sorry! I also do not imagine both names go o.k. jointly as Cade is this style of as a lot as date call, while Matthew is a classic. Matthew notwithstanding is a gorgeous call! i love it! Matthias is likewise a valuable decision.

That is a lovely name. My new grandson is named Chase Matthew. Is your husband named Matthew? We always like to have the middle name be a family name. The person you name the child after is so honored and has a special bond with him and the child has a feeling of history and belonging. Congratulations on your new addition and Good Luck.
