How about inviting them to a park or a swimming pool! Or maybe to a skating rink or movie theater? I have a small apartment and always manage to crowd in the people for the birthdays. Kids don't care. They are just in it for the fun. Have a relay race outside or a pop the balloon attatched to the ankle game.
