I don't think it's that they get more homesick because they are pregnant. It's just that prenancy really shifts the amounts of different hormones in her system and she will be more emotional. Maybe she will express the homesickness more but if there wasn't any homesickness there before she got pregnant, she won't feel it because of her pregnancy. Hey, have a happy baby and good luck.

Women get homesick regardless if they are pregnant or not.

Yes, tons of hormonal changes are happenig within you when you are pregnat and sometimes you get the blues, in my case I missed a lot my country, my people, my culture, etc, so yes is very normal.

i guess so b/c it happened to me. i was pregnant in germany and had the baby but am american from hawaii. i was very homesick and sad.

Pregnant woman are just more emotional in general because of all the hormone imbalances

yes cause when women are pregnant they are more sensitive than normal
