I have a daycare. Parents need to stop making excuses for their children. It does not help them. If a child does poorly in school the parent needs to listen to the teacher and not demand that their child be passed to the next grade when the child did not earn it. Stupidity and ignorance run hand in hand.

Tell me some learning activites that you do with your children.

I work with my 3-year-old on recognizing shapes, numbers, the alphabet and colors. I read to her also and let her look at pictures of family members identifying them.

What are some different types of learning activities you do with your small children?

What amount of time do you spend daily on this?

I didn't start my period today... :)
I don't have any period symptoms ( usually they start a week before, but no cramps or anything this month) A little bit after trying to concieve I had a pinkish discharge and ab. cramps a week later... at that time i wasn't even thinking if I got preg. Just the past few days its been running through my head like crazy.
Maybe stressing about if I'm preg. or not made it not come, I don't know, but if thats the case if i still took the test today would it tell me? Well im not really stressed, more excited.... Let me know what you think advice is greatly appreciated xox
(p.s. no comments please if your going to be immature about serious issues people go though, yeah there's some people on here like that and I'm sorry for them)

Hi Guys, Im about 20 weeks pregnant. My belly is growing and i can notice that. My problem is: When i sleep on my back my stomach goes flat as if im not pregnant. Even when i touch my tummy hoping to touch the baby's body i don't feel it. But during the day after meals i feel fluttering in my tummy which i guess might be the baby. Anyone experiencing the same?

My tummy is not hard as yet and i was already a bit overweight before pregnancy.

please help...

I have 2 kids - elder is a girl of 7 yrs and younger is a son of 5 years (adopted). I have had very little trouble with my daughter and we are a very democratic and open family who did not believe in spanking children till my younger monster came along. Physically there is nothing wrong with him and his teachers are in praise of him ... But class work and home work are serious areas of concern. The fellow refuses to write down his lessons in class or learn up his spellings. This - inspite of explaining the need to complete his work on time ... building it up to threats and even spanking him for it. He tells me honestly that he was busy playing and hence he did not have time to take down his lessons. He goes to a very liberal schooling environment and his teachers do not scold him for not doing his work !!!!! HELP ME.
