No offense, but your doctor was *wrong*. It is absolutely impossible to be fertile for 11 days!! Sperm can only live in your body for up to 3-5 days *when* you are approaching ovulation. If you are not about to ovulate, sperm will die within hours.
However, Clomid, in addition to treating infertility, can also *cause* it in other ways. While Clomid will force your body to ovulate, it also can decrease the cervical fluid that you produce that is necessary to keep sperm alive long enough to fertilize an egg, and cause your period to follow too closely after ovulation, not allowing a fertilized egg time to implant.
And it is *not* the case that stress can cause your period to be late. Stress can cause *ovulation* to be delayed. It is ovulation that causes the next period, so once you have ovulated, there is *nothing* that could make your period late.
Before you do anything else, please read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. It will help explain how female fertility works in order to help you get pregnant as quickly as possible.
Good luck!!

I am on clomid right now taking it days 5-9. My doc told me to have sex days 12-16. You should ovulate around the 7th day after your last clomid pill. Which in my case day 16.

Professional Mom is right. The thing that is best about Clomid is that you don't have to worry about multiple implantation near as much as the other fertility drugs. It works, but it takes time to see results.

well firstly did you have sex on your fertil days? have you missed your up and coming period? really we need more info breast tenderness is a sign of pregnancy but also of your period comming. Also stress will dely a period so dont worry ot much becuase you could cuase your peiord to skip or delay and make you think your pregnant when your not. Dont read to far into it just yet, you could make your self go into mental pregnancy, all the symptoms, no baby. Its in your head. Then again it could be legit, wait a while, see if your period skips, take a test or go see your doctor

I would have sore breast about two days after ovulation with clomid.First cycle I did not get pregnant, with my second cycle I did get pregnant. It is probably due to ovulation that is causing them to be sore this early.I wish you the best and hope that you are pregnant.
