Im 38 weeks and there has been like four times where I was for sure that labor would be starting soon(light contractions, diarrhea, feel nausea, sharp pains in cervix, pain in pelvic area)
but it always goes away. thanks for your answers

A group of us ladies were talking about this and one woman gave birth to all her children without any medication, she seemed to think she was a stronger woman than those who chose to take an epidural because she did it "naturally".

It made a few of the other ladies feel bad about their choice to take the epidural.

If your water broke outside of the hospital:

Did the fluids stain anything? Like if you were in your car or home, did the fluids stain, did you clean it up then or did you have someone professional clean it? What do women do about it?

Stupid question, but I have always wondered about this. No one talks about it!

I know this mother who since her divorce is doping up her children to no end. She has her 5 year old taking over 12 pills day plus over 3 breathing treatments a day. Her 13 year old and 10 year old are also on about 10 pills a day for various things. The children cannot even stay awake at school. 3 year ago before her divorce the children were not on anything at all and suddenly they have all these medical conditions. Any advice?

I have tried very hard to be kind and to work on making my daughter's father (an ex-boyfriend of mine) a part of her life. He lives in another State, but I send photos, videos, updates, try to visit, etc. I did not sue him for support, but he will pay trips if we go out to visit. But, I always am the one who plans the trips. Other than that, we never hear from him...not a "hello", "how is my daughter?", "thank you for all you do", nothing. Anything he knows about our daughter, is because of me. Last we saw him was 5 mos. ago and not a word since. He also has never made an effort to introduce her to his family (I did take her on my own to meet them, but she didn't get to meet everyone). I feel like he is ashamed of her or like he just doesn't care. I am so tired of his apathy and lack of concern for her. People say "oh, that's how men are." To me, that is the lamest excuse for poor behavior, indifference and does not justify bad parenting. Is it worth keeping him in her life?

I had my last period on May 29th 2006. It is now July 7th and I haven't seen anything. I don't have any symptoms, but I did have unprotected sex with my live in boyfriend. I took a pregnancy test on July 5th with a negative result. Can I still be pregnant because I am late?

I read alot on this yahoo answers because some stuff is interesting to me. What I dont understand these youg girls Im talking 11-14 yrs of age asking how am I going to tell my parents Im pregnant? Why are these young children even messing with sex and then they do it knowing the consequences and cry because they got pregnant. What ihas happend to childrens innosence? Do these kids even realize they are to young to work, or drive a car even so how do they plan on taking care of this baby? Its sad because they make the mistakes and parents have to pay and so do us tax payers(welfare).
