Up to 5 days I think. When we were trying to get pregnant, I was taking my temp and graphing it every AM to see when I was ovulating and after it dipped, we bumped uglies. We were trying for a boy and after tons of research that's what it said to do. It was usually 10-13 days after the first day of my period. It took us eight months to get pregnant. Oh...I took Robitussin also, it thins the secretions and allows the sperm to travel better. Sounds very crazy but it worked...we have our baby boy. It worked when we conceived our daughter also, but it didn't take as long with her we just heard about the timing and tried it and it worked. I was only 26 with her and 31 with him, if that makes a difference?

5-7 days during the time you are ovulating, which is generally 2 weeks after your period. But it depends on your body.
