Of course it needs to be TASTEFULLY done (sorry for the pun) . I'm just wondering if Victoria’s Secret took the wrong stand on the issue.

What are the advantages, and disadvantages of in home daycare and center daycares for a 3 year old? I'm getting ready to start my 3rd semester of college and my mother informed me that she will no longer be watching my daughter for me. I'm new to all this and really have no idea the differences or what to look for in daycares. Thanks all opinions welcome

I am 7 months pregnant with our second child (girl) ...we already have one daughter. I like the older victorian names that you don't hear very often nowadays. Our 2 year old year I named Cassandra. For this baby I was going through a list and came across the name Miranda; which I have always liked too...
Do you think it would be cute to have a Cassandra & a Miranda ((who arent twins)), or are the names too much alike?

My wife and I recently found out that we are going to be having a child. She is a little over 7 weeks pregnant and has been feeling mild symptoms. The question refers to a trip we had planned for early August.

We are going to Peru August 4-13th. Its high-altitude and a third world country. The trip would put her at 12 weeks-- almost into her second trimester. What are the risks we are taking? and is it advisable that she doesn't go?

The trip is pretty important for both of us-- we are missionaries to Peru and the location we're going to is going to be where we are living in about a year. But, I don't want to put my wife or our new child in any kind of danger.

From the research I've done and asked a few doctor friends (we're still waiting for an appt with her doc), the high-altitude is not as big of a deal as the 'third-world' country thing is. IF something were to happen (miscarry) in Peru, she could possibly be lacking the appropiate medical attention. What's your advice?

First of all i don;t have any kids. well here's my dream..or what i could remember: I was preggy I had the baby it was a girl and she was so beautiful and that whole nusing sceene kinda skipped. from having her, holding her. to when she was in preschool. I picked her up from school. brought her home., played with her, and i had this deep love for her. and i was so happy. It seemed like it was a normal thing and i was living like the first years of her life and she was calling me mommy. in my dream i felt as if I wanted this. I didn;t feel bad or anything. I felt very happy! i felt a bit scared though when i woke up!!!
But at the same time it had me wondering.What does this mean?
I want to have kids but not right now. maybe in a couple of years when i'm stable. :/

I scheduled an appointment with the doctor but the soonest I could get in is July 27th. What kind of things should I be doing before I see the doctor? Some people have suggested prenatal vitamins, any other suggestions???

by boyfriend and i had a quickie unprotected about 2-3weeks ago. for a little over a week i have had some occasional rough cramping, extreme breast tenderness, and a pretty heavy flow for a day. my ob/gyn said my cervix was starting to tilt, but there is still a chance im not pregnant. my boyfriend said the cervix doesnt tilt for at least 6 weeks.

is there any advice about whats going on? a hpt said pos, but ive heard they can read wrong...

I was spanked when I was growing up and I think it's something that more parents need to do to keep their kids in check. I'm a respectable member of society and I still, to this day, respect my mom and dad. I've seen more and more though that phychologists say it's not good to spank your children. Why is that?

I don't take a lot of medicine hardly ever, not even for headaches. I have a bad tension headache from work today. My doctor is not in today b/c of the holiday and I could live without taking anything. But if its okay, my head is killing me! Thanks!
