My daughter always tried to climb out of the crib and get her legs stuck between the bars also. I got a toddler bed and used it in place of the baby bed. I was a little nervous moving her out of her bed so early. It was also hard to keep her in bed b/c she wanted to get up. But, I stuck with it and made her stay in her bed at bedtime. It took a couple of weeks, but I was so glad in the end b/c I didn't have to worry about her saftey in the baby bed. She did fall out of her toddler bed the first 2 or 3 nights, but she stopped. I will tell you that I did put her toddler bed in my room for about a month. I was a little scared of her getting up and wondering around the house but she never did. So, good luck and I hope you find a solution that works for you!

My son went into a bed at about a year. One day he asked me to put him in the crib. I did, he threw himself up and over the rail then jumped down. Then he asked me to put him back in.

That night he slept in a bed, since I considered the crib to be unsafe.

Might be time.

LOL..the same thing happened with my eldest daughter...after she did it a few times she stopped doing it....she was about the same age and she figured out that it hurt and stopped getting herself into such a mess...my advice is to give it a couple of weeks and, should she not stop, then try one of the ideas mentioned here...

have you tried using a crib liner. its a soft blanket like thing that goes all the way around the crib. that is what i use and its never happened to my daughter.

how about getting those crib paddings that go around the edge of
the crib that should prevent her getting her legs stuck

take off the rails, or weave a sheet between (interlock them) the rails so her legs can pass through.
