Pregnancy & Parenting - 27 June 2006

My next appointment is July 20, and I will be right at 10 weeks pregnant. I haven't gotten to see or hear my baby's heartbeat yet, and I will be 10 weeks before I get to do that. I was just wondering when other women who have been or are expecting go to see or hear their babies heartbeat for the first time?? I am just wondering if I should call for an earlier ultrasound because this wait is really really hard. thanks.

Ok, I have 3 kids already, all from 5lbs to 5 lbs 11 oz. Due to a second marrage now this baby has excess weight gain and is getting to big at 37 weeks. I have been at 3cm and 70% for a week now and can't seem to get anytihng going. Daddy is on vacation this week and would help so much with 4 other kids to have him here to start. My midwife told me to do all I can to start moving things along, but nothing is working.. walking, sex, cleaning,spicy foods and I am not using caster oil!! Any idea's please??

My family is going to Disney World next spring, and I was hoping that my WHOLE FAMLIY THAT IS IN A NEAR STATE! I am 10 and my brother is 19 with is 19-year-old girlfriend that I consider my sister, to come with us. After all, we haven't had a nice family vacation since I was 2. It's gonna be me, my mom, my 2 neices, my 2 sister-in-laws, and my other 2 brothers. But it won't be the same without my other brother and his girlfriend. They don't wanna go without them. They don't wanna go because when they were my age, a lot of the rides in Disney World were kiddie rides. My brother's girfriend wants to go, but she wouldn't feel right going without my brother. Could you tell me a way to just deal with it and go without him and his girlfriend or could you tell me a way to convince him to go without getting annoying?

The problem is that acouple years back my husband got busted with a little bag of cocaine(mainly the residue) and had to pay these huge fines and was on probation...will this affect us in any way if one day we plan to adopt...will we be denied because of this??? His probation is over and he has also completed drug counseling the court requested...The drugs werent even his but they were found in his car so ofcourse he was responsible for them..anyway, weve been trying to conceive for about 7 months now and nothing...so adoption is something i might want to do. will we be able to?

When i was 14 my cycle started to mess up so the local clinic put me on orthotricyclen. Then soon after the depo shot. The shot caused me to gain 60 pounds and get cysts on my ovaries so they put me back on orthotricyclen. After that they took me off everything and said i had infection in my tubes. I got fed up and went to the gyno and he said i have endo: to have a baby.. The clinic agreed. now im on orthocyclen without taking the greenpills to stop my cycle. My mom had it and had a hysterectomy at 23. IM 20 now what should i do??? have a baby? wait? I really want kids the other options of the leupron shot are not for me b/c of other health problems. PLease give me advice

My husband recently began thinking about getting circumcised. Oddly enough i've never been with a circumcised man and didn't really know how to respond when he told me he was thinking about having it done? Is it really any different at all? I have tried and tried to get my son potty trained before he starts school in August, but he will do it for a week and then stops. He doesn't ask to go to the potty when he is out with my parents or at the babysitters, he only goes when i am around but i have to keep asking him.

My baby son will be 5 months old july 3rd and i have been with his dad for 3 years, we live together. He has been seperated for 7 years from a lady in australia, he lived there with her and they did seperate their belonging legally when they went to court on a different charge before he even met me. Do you think the divorce is annulled since it has been so long and if not, how hard is this going to be to get a divorce? IHow much money is it? He does not even know where she is? know she wanted one about 2 years ago, but at that time, he ignored her request. Now i really need him to get that divorce on account of my son and i love him to want to marry him. He got the papers to fill out and file with the court on divorce a year ago, they are still sitting in his car so he does not need to pay for the pappers. he knows, i am dead serious that i will leave him if this is not done soon. I feel like an idiot being with a still married man with a baby

I am so obsessed with putting johnson's baby lotion on my son everyday. I still do it to my 8 year old daughter to this day. Do other mother's do that? what is the one thing you just have to do everyday with your baby/kids?
