She has no problem eating proteins or carbs. In fact, she'll eat beef, pork, chicken, even tofu, pastas, rice, potatoes, dairy foods... but it is a nightmare to even suggest any fruits or vegetables (other than raisins) to her. If we go to a restaurant she will cause a scene if we tell her to eat a small, plain ol' dinner salad! (believe me, we don't continue to reward her by taking her out to eat)
When she was younger she used to eat bananas and grapes, apples, oranges, strawberries, carrots, celery, broccoli, peas, green beans.
Now I'm concerned that she is not getting the vitamins and nutrients she needs because she rather dig her heals in and fight us than not eat. We usually serve her the fruit or vegetables before the rest of the meal so that she can get that out of the way and enjoy the rest of her food --but she would rather starve!
Like i said, my concern is that she get the proper nutrition.
