That's still kind of early, your baby will have to be in the NICU if born so young. I would go to the dr to see if those are real contractions or not. Then if you wanted to try to bring labor on, I would wait at least 4 weeks, or whatever your Dr suggests.

no...
First, the baby is too small. If he/she's born now, it'll be too small and not ready yet. Baby needs to be in his/her 37th week before he/she is ready to be born.
Second, the contraction might just practice contraction. If it's real contraction, you'll be having your baby by now. So don;t worry about it, if the contractions feel wrong - call your doctor and tell him what happened.
Third, induce labor is not a good thing to do. Doctor usually do it when the baby's 2 weeks late or the labor is not progressing effectively.

no its not. i had 3 children and they were all very hard.i had to go to the doctor 2 times a month until i was 6 months then it was every week. they had to stop my labor many times because if you try to induce your labor it could hurt your baby or maybe even you. when the time is right your doctor will induce if it needs to be done.but if he does induce you make sure you get something for pain. it makes the contractions allot more intense. believe me 2 of my children were induced and i did it all natural. it is painful but once you see your baby I'm sure you will decide that the wait is worth it.

Getting induced is all up to you. I have two kids and both of mine I chose to induce at 38 weeks cause I wanted to make sure the baby was going to be healty plus, I didn't want to get any bigger. Your contractions could possibly be braxton hicks. If I was you I would try to go a few more weeks and then ask to be induced.

I don't think it's ever a good idea to induce your labor, unless done by a doctor when necessary. 34 weeks is too early.

If you want to have your baby live in an incubator for its first few weeks of life, and possibly end up with long term lung problems, then sure, it's safe!
Are you serious? You're really wanting to induce your labor a month and a half early? Do you know ANYTHING about babies and how they develop and how to take care of an infant? If you're too ignorant to not know the risks of having your baby be born prematurely, then God help your child when he/she is born having you for a mother... "What? You have to let a bottle of formula cool down after boiling it before you give it to the baby? I didn't know that..." (shudder)

The baby's lungs are too immature still , and it will most likely need a respirator,if born now. Baby's born premature have a higher rate of asthma, and are more susceptible for RSV, so you need to go to your doctor to have your contractions stopped, and give your baby a better chance by keeping that bun in the oven a little longer.

I wouldn't. I would only go maybe like 2 weeks or so just as long as everything was ok with the baby. The Dr. also has ways of testing the baby to see if it's ready out side the womb.

First of all why would you do such a thing?
Second this is for you and everyone else--you should research the possible side effects that oxytocin (the drug most commonly used to induce labor) can have on you and your baby.

Not starting off this being a parent thing very well if you are already trying to get out off doing things the right way.
