I went through the same thing.
I'm also carrying my second child.
I freaked myself out so bad I went to the hospital.
It turned out to be nothing.
I asked the doctor why I had felt so much movement before and hardly none for the past 2 days.
She told me to lie down and relax.
With moving around so much, sometimes you just don't notice the little movements.
She also said to drink some juice to get a little sugar in my body to kick start some movement.
She also reminded me that the baby does sleep and quit a bit.
Keep a movement journal. This helped me allot.
If you still are worried DON"T hesitate to go the hospital.
You'll feel better once you hear the heart beat.

Try eating or drinking something very cold (ice water, a popsicle) and then lying down. Your baby should move within 10 - 15 minutes.
Right now, at 20 weeks, the baby is still incredibly small and has loads of room to move around. Even though you might have felt her move a lot at 16 weeks, maybe she was closer to your uterus, and now she's just floating around in the middle. :)
If, after drinking something cold, she still doesn't move, call your OB.

I hate to alarm you but the same thing happened to me at 20 weeks and my baby had died to to an umbilical cord accident(wrapped around her neck 3 times) my Doctor put me off for 4 days before he finally gave in a saw me only not to hear her heartbeat and when I was induced into labor we seen that her cord is what caused it, so if you don't feel her today then I would get to the doc asap
actually I would go now, but that's me
Sorry to scare you, I pray everything is OK for you
Try drinking OJ or eating something with lots of sugar

Don't worry about it. They have days just like we do. Some days they are wired and other days they want to lay around all day. It is normal. If you go more than 48 hours without feeling anything, that's when I would call your doctor. Anything under that, don't worry. Whatever you do, don't go drinking a bunch of caffeine or eat a bunch of sugar to go winding him up. Stay on a healthy balanced diet and you and your baby should be fine. Good luck!

All of my kids reacted to loud noises try that. If they don't move for a day or so i never got worried because they would all push up against my ribs. If there is a certain spot that the baby pushes against lay down and wait for it and things will be o.k.
If you don't feel anything for a week that's when you might start to worry and go to the doc just for your piece of mind. Good luck with you newest edition.

if you're worried you haven't felt your baby move you should drink some orange juice (the sugar helps stimulate the baby) and lay down on your left side for about an hour and keep track of how many kicks you feel. this is how you do a kick count toward the end of your pregnancy.

Maybe they are tired! I am not sure on how to answer that the best thing to do if you are really worried is to go to the emergency room because they usually have ultra sound machines to see the baby and I don't want to scare you but they could have tied there umbilical cord around them selves and be gasping for life! my little sister almost died that way the doctors had to do an emergency C section on my mom.

I agree - I was always so paranoid when I didn't feel the baby move for several hours. (Especially when it was normally very active).
You still have quite a ways to go in your pregnancy, might I suggest purchasing one of those portable fetal heart monitors. - You know, you can get them at like Wal-Mart (or a comparable store) - they have head phones and there's a microphone type thing that detects the fetal heart beat. --- They are relatively inexpensive (less than $50.00) - and it was kind of a fun thing to have.

I wouldn't worry too much. Although it is really hard. I went thru a few spells with my daughter that she had lazy days. Trying playing some music on your belly or taking a warm shower. Those always helped me. I don't know about foods that would help. Sorry, I hope things go well for you!

You need to get to the Dr. It maybe nothing but it could be serious. That is how my girlfriend lost her baby. They say if you go too long with no movement you need to have it checked.
Good Luck!
