You can have a completely normal, heavy period, and still be pregnant. Your body begins producing the pregnancy hormoen, (which stops your menstrual cycle) after the egg has been implanted in utero. I have two boys, and I had a completely normal period with both when i was pregnant. good luck:)

Nope. Periods mean that you are not pregnant. You are probably so stressed about wanting a child that you are changing the natural flow of your period - stress changes your hormones and makes your period funny. In late December my period was just 4 days of spotting and I wasn't pregnant, I was going through a lot of stress and my then-fiancee and I were in the middle of a move to a new apartment. Now I'm married and late May I got no period at all and I am now 9 weeks pregnant.

It sounds highly unlikely if there was heavy bleeding??? Were you pregnant???? You should probably go to the Dr and see if they can find the baby on an ultra sound because a hpt right after a miscarriage might say positive because it might take the body a little bit of time to return to pre-pregancy levels of hormones.

Yes, you can. With my first son, I had my period for three months before I found out that I was pregnant. I had a bladder infection so a blood test confirmed the pregnancy. So check with your dr if you think you might be pregnant

Sorry, impossible. If you had a period, you're not pregnant. And if you're normal with a 28 day period, then you'll have to wait another ten days (until you ovulate) before it's worth trying again to get pregnant.

It is possible but isn't usually heavy. When I was pregnant with my daughter I had two periods (at the begining of my pregnancy) which were very light and my doctor told me it does happen.

well all I can tell you is I had a period thru the first 5 months of my 1st pregnancy and thru the first 3 of my third.
So I would say go see your doctor just to make sure.

It's certainly possible, but no way to know for sure unless you take one of the home pregnancy tests. They're pretty accurate. The pregnancy hormone level in your blood would have dropped off by now if you aren't.

well sounds like you had a normal period just cut a few days. I would go and buy an ept and see what that says and then just wait it out another month and see what next month will bring. good luck
