I had my son 4 months ago and the weight has stayed the same since my checkup. I have a "spare tire" if you know what I mean and would like to get rid of it. Any suggestions on what excercises are best for this target area?

You may want to try taking a pilates class or renting the video, the exercises really focus on your core muscles. My instructor, who has had two emergency c sections had the most enviable flat stomach and she's over 40, pilates does work! Good luck! : )

Pilates is the best exercise I've found for the midsection. It's great for thighs too. Winsor Pilates is the best video... http://www.winsorpilates.com Get yourself a nice cushy mat to work out on.
