I am 121/2 years old and have about 2 yrs. experience. I am taking a babysitting and CPR course.

I have been giving my kids their medicine for their allegies, Zyrtec for a while now. Since I do not get home until after 5:00pm, I had been forgetting to take the medicine to the babysitter so I had to give them their dosages one after the other. The medicine said to give them one teaspoon twice a day, so that means that I was giving them two teaspoons once a day. I just called the pharmacist today to ask if this was fine, and stupid me had hesitated to call earlier. She said that it is better to wait at least eight hours in between because that way it's not pushing so much medicine in them at one time. And, it lets it settle better in their system. I know, what can I do now but to start giving them their medicines like I should. But shoot, I feel so bad now, I feel like a bad mother. I hope that all this time that I have been giving them their medicine at one time hasn't been affecting them greatly.

i have a friend who is 8 months pregnant and shes really smart she gets good grades honoroll student and shes a soccer player but shes pregnant now and she thinks shes gonna go right back to her old ways of being a great soccer player and graduating and stuff. but most teen mothers either drop out or graduate and then work at some loser job because there life revolves around there baby do you think theres hope for her?

We are expecting our first and I am wondering what the chances of having a red head are. I am blonde. My brother is a dirty blond/light brown and both of my parents are deep brown brunettes. My husband and his 2 siblings have beautiful bright red hair. His mother is blonde and his father has sandy brown hair. The red hair runs in his family. yesterday was my implantation day. i felt very tired and my body temp raised little bit (i felt that). whole day i felt very tired. my eyes are tired and my legs too.one more thing i feel like some discharge coming from vagina. but nothing coming out.

Like I said, he did use protection, and when he could tell he was going to come, he pulled out. My fiance and I pride ourselves in trying to be as careful as possible, but we realize nothing is 100%. can water help sperm swim along, and under the circumstances, would a condom and pulling out as well be relatively safe in your opinion?
Please help, and if you think this responsse is ignorant, then don't leave a stupid post, only real answers please :(

My baby turned 11 months old today. He is long (or tall) for his age. I am tired of people saying that my son isn't much of a baby anymore just because of his length. He doesn't even sit up well yet. He does crawl. Never stood yet either. My daughter was big for her age too. Why do people say this?

Adoption is great! I know a few people who were adopted and they have great step families, and love their life. So why can't woman put up their baby's for adoption, rather than abort them? Seriously, you can't say they may have a horrible time growing up, you never know, and many children are adopted my wonderful couples. I am so glad I wasn't aborted as a baby... aren't you?

To the people that say it is a woman's choice on what she wants to do with her bodies..

Where is the baby's choice, the unborn baby is voiceless, so does that mean it doesn't exist?

Also, technically the fetus is not part of the woman's body, just inside it. It has it's OWN DNA!

my neighbor got upset because someone said something to her about her kids and she took it as they think she is a bad mom .
her kids are 2. 3. &4. they never have clothes on when they are outside , all still take bottles [one sufferes baby bottle tooth decay ] none are being potty trained . the kids were brought home by the police because they wondered into a fastfood place alone , not to mention a neighbor brought them home once also from the same fast food place.
they are rarely supervised outside. never have shoes on , and are just down right filthy all the time .
how would you go about saying something to her with out being outright mean about it ? she sometimes asks me to keep an eye out for her kids while she is at school . i have 5 kids of my own and she knows the neighbors compare the fact with 5 and 2 having mental disabilities i take care of my kids better then she does .
any suggestions?

How many times do you take your kids out to mcdonalds, the park, roller-skating, swimming, etc??? I have an 8 yr old daughter and i feel like i have to take her out everyday to have fun. She is perfectly fine at home sometimes, I think it is just me!!! What do people do at home with their kids???

I took my 6 year ld step-daughter to get her ears pierced for Christmas. When we got home, I discovered she had stole something from the store ( a finger watch). She lied and told her father I bought it for her. I think she actually had herself convinced I did! I made sure he KNEW I DID NOT buy it! I made her take it back to the store, and tell the manager she stole it. My husband made her write 50 times "I will never steal again". My question is...How do I get over it??? It has been 6 months, and I can't believe how angry I still am about it!!! I told her if she EVER does it again,I will take her straight to the police station. Am I just being over stressed about it, should I just forget about it? I just can't seem to let it go. Do you think her punishment was enough? Serious answers ONLY please.

My daughters are 1 and 2 and I put them in the tub with me. It is much more convenient. I could give them their baths then take mine but I know I'd come out of the bathroom and my apartment would be destroyed. Their dad will also put them in the shower when he gets off work in the morning. Most of the time, it's because he's the one that fed them breakfast and they got messy. Other times it's only because He wanted to help me out. Is there a certian age that kids should no longer take baths with their parents?
