When in doubt see a doctor, though I have some ideas because I have suffered stomach problems myself.A stomach ulcer could be a possible problem and there are some good over the counter medicines you may try to see if they help , one which worked for me is called pepcid ac . If you are not having regular bowel movements the pain may be emanating from that region which would feel like a stomach problem. An over the counter medicine available to ease that would be a stool softener gel cap which are inexpensive under 8 dollars. If eating food seems to relieve the problem somewhat I would first try the pepcid ac which is available at all drug stores . If it is an achy type feeling try the stool softener first. But if this is a persistant problem a doctors visit is in order , there are a wide range of things which can cause stomach pain. Ulcers, bowel problems, acid reflux, hernia etc. and the list goes on.

Some girls experience pain when they are ovulating. So every month before your period you might have pain in your stomach on one side or the other. You should see a doctor anyway to be sure.
