Well, this is not my children.. yet... but I have seen some parents embarrass their children more than any other moment in life. I coach competitive cheerleading and this past season we made a "parent team". This is a division where the parents get together, put on some make shift uniform and do an entire cheerleading routine, music, dance, tumbling, stunting, the whole works - out in front of the crowd at competitions.

The cheerleaders are all ages 13 - 15 and get COMPLETELY embarrassed when their mom's and dad's are out their doing cheerleading, attempting to dance, crawling on each other attempting to build a pyramid. It is quite funny.

It is even more funny to watch the reaction on the kids faces!

I can't. I have tried but my kids don't put stock in what other people think so I can not embarrass them. I am the type who cares tremendously about what others think so I am happy my kids are not like that - they will be happier.

I embarass my teenage stepson when my husband and I kiss in front of him, and my daughter hates when I lick my finger to wash her face.
