If you have a history of miscarriage then you possibly could be trying to miscarry. Spotting probably isn't a miscarriage. If the bleeding gets really heavy then that could be a miscarriage. I would go to the doctor just to make sure again that everything is ok. It is not usually normal to bleed during pregnancy. I have three children and never spotted or bled while pregnant. I'm not saying you are having a miscarriage but I would go get it checked out. No need in taking a chance. The doctor may just want you to get on bed rest.

I'd CALL. THE. DOCTOR. RIGHT. FREAKIN'. NOW.

That's what they are there for.

*Also, it could just be the hormonal changes at the time menstruation would ordinarily have occurred. Bleeding is usually light, though an occasional woman experiences what seems like an actual period. However, with your history of miscarriages, I'd be in the doctor's office right now. Good luck, dear!!

There is still hope. Some women spot all through their perfectly healthy pregnancies. Relax, keep taking good care of yourself and tell that baby that you love it. I hope all goes well for you.

However, with your history, I'd prepare myself for the worst. If you are indeed losing this pregnancy, there is nothing that can be done to save it now. The process has begun and no doctor or remedy can reverse the damage.

In the future, check into progesterone supplementation. There is some anecdotal evidence suggesting that it has helped women with issues similar to yours carry babies to term.

I'll pray for you.

All spotting does not mean miscarriage. You can spot and still have your baby! See a doctor if you are really worried. If it doesn't work out keep trying and have fun while doing it!

How much are you bleeding and are there large clots? If you are not bleeding a huge amount and there are no clots, then I doubt you have had a miscarriage. It is not unusual to spot and some women even have a whole period in the first trimester. But to be safe call your OB.

Call your doctor. Call every day if you feel that you need to. My wife and I lost a baby, she was born alive at 19.5 weeks but there was nothing they could do for her. My wife told her doctor that she thought something was wrong starting at about week 12. She started bleeding at about week 15. I hope and pray that all is OK with you.

I spotted with my first and thought it counted as my period. I had no idea I was pregnant and I had the worst cramps ever . He is 8 years old now. Good Luck. Stay off your feet , take it easy and try not to worry so much. Never be afraid to call your doctor.

go back to the doctor and if you are not satisfied with his answer get another opinion. My experience tells me not all doctors are created equal. My daughter had an purplish knot in her breast when she was a baby my original doctor told me she was fine and it would go away. My instinct told me something was wrong went to another doctor and they said the breast was infected and needed to be drained right away. They admitted her to the hospital the same day for minor surgery.

Go with you gut feeling take action...it's your body and ultimately you know it best (as well as your history)

Go to the emergency room or your gynecologist if she will see you today. Spotting doesn't necessarily mean miscarraige but it should ALWAYS be checked out. I had three miscarraiges and on my fourth pregnancy I started spotting and went to the hospital where they told me I was losing my baby, but they were wrong, I ended up giving birth to my daughter. so try not to worry but DO seek medical attention.

Hugs and best of luck
