That's ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** a weird question. Hey look at all them stars. Do I get a prize? Extra Points?
Set your own price.
You have been given almost too much advice here.
Know your abilities and ask around (prices will be very different in different parts of the country): what are other people about your age and qualifications getting. Then ask a tad more. If no taker lower you price. Remember you can always lower a price but it's much harder to raise a price. Good luck and happy baby sitting!

And how many times has this question been asked on here? You should ask for minimum wage, whatever it is where you live. And that's pretty generous, because you're not even of working age yet. Be happy with whatever you get. If you ask for too much, someone else will get the job. 2 years experience?....I hope you mean you have helped take care of a younger sibling. 10 years old is not old enough to babysit someone's child.

I'm 12 1/2 with 4 years experience and I charge about $5/ hr for one to 2 kids and $1 more per kid. What babysitting course are you taking?? I took that safe sitters class.

not sure how old you are because it says 121/2 so not sure.
But i have a 2 year old and i usually pay my babysitter about 20 bucks for like 4 hours
It usually depends on the people, i remember when i was young and babysitting, my family would want to to babysit for free.
But if it was one of my parents friends then they would usually give me any where from 10 to 20 bucks for 4 hours.
so its like 2 or 3 dollars an hour.
But now my son goes to daycare and it costs me like 40 dollars a day. and hes their for 5 hours.

My neice is your age, took the same classes you have, and I pay her $6/hour. When she turns 18, I'll pay her $8/hour, but will ask her to help me out with driving some. I have paid college kids and daycare workers (ie., adult caregivers) $10/hour. Their age just makes them more experienced and knowledgable. I would not leave an infant with a babysitter who is not at least 14 years old, though. My neice babysits my 3, 8 and 10 year olds.

the experience and the cpr i'd say if it was just so the parents could go out then 10-15 dollars a kid, a hour. but if its for like the whole day go to like 8 dollars a kid, a hour... unless the kids are hellians or something, then knock up the price

no offense but it's not YOU that decides the hourly fee to babysit, its the parents of the child/children. DEPENDING ON if the house is clean when they arrive home from being gone or if the dishes are done, and yes if their is something needing done when you babysit, its your job to make sure its done and the home is clean . MOST sitters are paid per child and get about $5.00 per hour .good luck

How much you get paid depends on your employer and you. Negotiations is very important. With qualifications like yours, you should be able to get a lot for it.
Use your gift of gab and you can be pulling in as much as you like.
Find employer who are extremely well off and they won't care to negotiate. They will just agree to whatever you want.
If you can not get a high dollar value for the job consider non-monetary benefits like fridge privileges.

That really depends on the area you are in. On average I would say approximately $4-5 dollar an hour.
