I'm curious to know if with your child (during pregnancy) did you STRESS a lot and the baby came out very fussy? The reason I am asking is because, with my son, I STRESSED a lot, and he is very crabby. With my daughter, I did not stess much throughout my pregnancy and she is very content and a "good baby". I am trying to find out if STRESS during pregnancy has a big effect on the baby!

My situation is that I love my child. She is almost 2 and I try to protect her as much as I can. I am a working mom and my husband is a stay at home dad. I love her so much that she is all I think about. I worry about so much that can happen when I'm not around. Her father is a very good father. He takes good care of her but being a mother, you feel that you can do alot better. I think I want to home school her when the time comes but my husband says we should let her go to school to socialize with other kids. I just worry what if someone tries to push, hit, pick on her. I think I would go nuts if I ever found out anyone hurt my child. I sometimes leave her at my sisters house while we are preparing our new home for her but my mind is on her. I know she is in good hands and is having a great time with her cousins but she is still my baby and always will be. How can I learn to relax and not worry so much??

i am pumping my breast milk for my 1 week old baby, sometimes i feel like i am doing it right and sometimes i dont, how do i know if i am doing it right. i am getting about 2 ounces every pump, after my let down and the milk stops coming out should i still be pumping? i am so confused?

I know a woman who left her 3 month old daughter to join the Army and go to Germany. The child was adopted and raised by it's grandmother and great-grandmother. The birth mother hated the child after she returned from overseas and saw that the girl had grown to know her grandmother as mommy and her great-grandmother as grandma. Now the girl is a grown woman, and the birth mother makes no attempt still to have a relationship with her daughter, and tells other family members "she doesn't want to have anything to do with her" and "I'm not her mother". Should the adoption excuse this behavior? Or, should the woman have tried to have a relationship with her daughter regardless since it was an open, family adoption? Should a mother say she hates her child to other family members? What could such behavior denote about the parent?

i had sex every other day since may 25. my period was on may 18 and it lasts for 7 days. me and my boyfriend have been trying to get pregnant. now i feel nausea sometimes and sensitive to some food smells. i had some light brownish/pinkish blood for 2 days i thought it was implantation bleeding. i'm expecting my period on the 15 and usually i have cramps before my period comes and i dont have any now. and they usually last about a week before. and also yesterday when i used the bathroom and when i wiped it was some clear sticky discharge. what could that be? so could i be pregnant?

I was thinking that it would be a good business idea to rent out my toddler playroom for an hourly rate for people to meet for playgroups. Would people actually pay for something like this? I'm thinking of people who live in small apartments or don't want to mess up their house - or something for kids to do when the weather isn't good for outside play.

i need help because im 17 and i think i might be pregnant. ok on April 26 me and my ex had sex w/o a condom because he wonted me to have his baby. 14 days later on May 10th my period came but it was very light in color and not as heavy as my usaul period be. Now for the month of June my period was due on June 5th but it never came. I had got all the period symptoms and i it really felt like it was about to come but nothing. Now i am 8 days late and the guy and i dont talk anymore, what should i do. i dont wont to take a home pg test im still waiting to see if it will come next month or something. What are my chances of being pregnant?I love kids and cant wait til i have one of my own but its like i thought about it and i need a education first and go to college and have everything set up to give the best to my child. So if i am i will love my child to death and for ever i just need to know if im havin a baby or not.

i haven't seen my 4 yr old daughter now for 2 yrs . it's now come to the stage where i've ran out of new ideas . i've been to solicitors where they have sent her (ex-partner) letters asking her to seek legal advice regarding me taking her to court . but she doe'snt reply . so i can't take it the stage further . also i must state i'm not a violent person or nor do i undertake in any pervertion . i can honestly see how some men lose it with frustration i'm now hitting a brick wall help help !!

I am 18 yrs old, well my Last period was on May 21st, I might have concieved on June 1st, my boyfriend used that "pull out method" but as many know, it isn't a good method, always a possibility of pregnancy. Anywho, I've been throwing up for the past three days, everything I intake upsets my stomach, I seem 2 be constipated everyday now, I feel a sense of sadness, and nothing really bothers me to make me feel this way. I haven't gotten morning sickness, or tender breasts, dark areola, so not quite sure if I NEED those symptoms to see if I am pregnant. I guess I'm just curious atm, and still waiting it out to see if I miss a period.

I have 2 small children and dont want them to grow up and become addicts. I have watched so many good parents watch their good kids get hooked on drugs, crack.. pot.. heroin... and other. It ruins their lives. I mean good in a general way. Normal run of the mill parents and kids. I dont do drugs and never have, but i dont know why i didnt, i just didnt. How can i instill in my children that drugs are very harmful... I would like answers from everyone, but especially teens that have been faced with the pressure to do drugs and why did you or didnt you do it??? PLEASE HONEST ANSWERS

My stepson is 9 years old. He has just repeated the 2nd grade because he failed reading the first time. This child LOVES to read, he just is slow in learning the words. When he asked his Mom to take him to the library, she said no. So I took him. Should I say something to her about this? I feel like she is doing him an injustice by ignoring him. I also feel that if she had helped him with his homework to begin with, he wouldn't have failed.
