You sound pregnant to me. TAKE the home test! They are quite accurate. Then, if you are, GET TO A DOCTOR. You need prenatal care. The first trimester is the most critical during pregnancy. You do not want to wait. Also, have you thought about placing the baby for adoption? There are many two parent homes dying to adopt a baby. I have completed my undergraduate degree and have a small baby. It is difficult at 24, so I can't imagine a 17 year old trying to support a baby. If you want to keep the baby, see if your parents will let you live with them and go to college.

OK so if you had sex 14 days before your period was due and you have a 28 day cycle... then you were ovulating... this is prime time to get pregnant. It is strange however that you had a period but that doesn't mean that you aren't pregnant. Now you can still go through college and everything with a child if that is what you choose. It make take a longer and will definitely be harder but it is a possibility. You can also opt for an adoption where you are able to be a part of the child's life, kinda like you have a certain am mount of time each week that her adoptive parents are mandatory to let you see her. There is also the option of foster care but I don't think that is the best op[tion. Find out if your pregnant first then email me if you want some help with what to do.

The only way to tell is take a test. Go to a clinic or planned parenthood. Why on earth are you trying to make babies if you want to go to college?? If you are pregnant, you need to take responsibility and get a job and once paternity is established, file for child support. What do you think you can set up for a baby at the age of 17? You cant afford a house or apartment and it is wrong for you to expect your parents to do this for you when you made the decision to try to get pregnant.

I think you shouldn't wait another month, because if you are pregnant, you can't wish a period to come inlater months, you baby needs you now, and you need to take a pregnancy test and start recieving prenatal care to ensure your baby will have the best shot at a healthy begenning. Don't wait. So if you say you just need to know you answer will cost about 8 bux at Walmart... get a pregnancy test girl. :-)

OK, first stay calm. Don't panic or stress too much because if you are not pregnant your period could be late because of stress(stress can throw off your period). I would take a EPT(early pregnant test), then go to your doctor for a blood test to confirm or rule out pregnancy. To answer your question, you may be pregant or may not be. I don't want to say YES you could be pregnant or NO because I honestly can't tell you. If you need to go somewhere for a confidential pregnancy test go to your local Planned Parenthood/Family Planning clinic. They will give you a test for FREE, and if it comes up positive and you need a confidential blood test to confirm pregnancy they will give you a referral for that to. Since you do not want to get pregnant I would suggest if you are not pregnant you get on birth control that way you don't have to worry. If you need to get birth control confidentially go to your local Family Planning/Planned Parenthood clinic. You parents cannot find out about your pregnancy or your birth control unless you want to.

First off... take a preg. test. The digital ones will be a little more comforting than the ones with the line or no line. Once you find out for shure whether you are pregnant. Then you can reevaluate how you want to handle the pregnancy... who to tell, (parents?) what to do, if you can afford it... See a OBGYN) best of luck to you!
P.S.
a missed period does not exactly mean you are pregnant...

It IS possible to continue to have periods and still be pregnant, at least the first couple of months. You need do a home test and set up an appointment with an OB/GYN if it is positive. Good luck!

you need to get a home pregnancy test right now! if you are pregnant you should be avoiding certain foods, drinks, medications, and going to the doctor monthly! i think that you are way to young to have to take on the responsibility of a child, and i suggest that if you are not pregnant you should stop listening to people who tell you not to use condoms. he could be telling someone else the same thing and give you v.d. also, guys who say that only care about themselves and won't make good fathers.

Ok well it does sound like you are pregnant.
But that is why you should wait to have sex until you KNOW you are mentally and financially ready to have children. Now look this guy "said" he wanted to have a baby with you and now he doesn't want anything to do with you. A baby is FOREVER.
I know you will do what is best. But please be more careful and respect yourself more in the future!
