My dad says he has never done better financially. I have 5 brothers and sisters so right there my dad saves $2,500 just on the increase in the child tax credit. Not to mention the elimination of the marriage penatly. Why Clinton was punishing married couples I will never know. My trades a lot of stocks and my dad says Bush's reduction in the capital gains rate is putting me & my brother through college. Thanks Mr. Bush. I will have no loans when I graduate thanks to you!

Is this really a legitimate comunity driven site, or is it left-wing satire? I know the steroetype of conservatives is that anything they don't agree with or doesn't fit thier worldview/agenda will be met with a claim of liberal bias. But this site is over the top. I really can't believe it's actually driven by the conservative community. So, is Conservapedia a farce?

much like people are under the illusion that Saddam would not allow inspectors into the country I am sure it will be said that Iran would not allow inspectors in as well.

We have someone I work with who is always arguing about Bush is the worst President ever and someone else always talks about being Christian and everyone should be...
Which is worse? I mean I have BOTH extremes here! Religious fanatical right and ignorant extremist leftist liberalism. Which is worse in your opinion? I don't want to hear anyone's opinion at work unless I ASK for it! What about you?

Many times an issue gets clouded and argued based upon other initial beliefs . Government supplied Healthcare is a good example . When people debate that issue , they're approaching it with different mind-sets to start with . Some will argue that our healthcare system is terrible , because it's not perfect nor all inclusive on every need . Others will argue that it's just fine(maybe some improvements) and it's the ultimate responsibility of the individual to get healthcare insurance .
They don't view it as a 'Right' in the first place .

Do You Believe Government Funded Healthcare Is A 'Right' ? Or Not ? Either Way , Please Include Logical Arguments To Back-Up Your Position .
Thank you .

Just look at all the sane, thoughtful decisions he's made! Just look at the way he embraces peace and doesn't try to glamourize war! And lying? Why, what could religion possibly have to do with lying?
Gee, I sure hope we let the South dictate the election again because America sure does thrive under religious leadership.

carbon fuels are causing global warming, why don't you just quit using so much oil rather than complain about it?
Ride a bike. Buy a high mileage car. Put solar panels on your roof. Do something other than expect the government to wave its magic wand.
Consumer habits create the demand. Consumer usage fools the air.

I am going to give him the benefit of a doubt and assume that being that he came from a middle class family to become filthy rich, he had to work hard for it and nothing was handed to him.

So why doesn't he champion that same method for the poor people of today?

Hand-outs aren't the answer.

Thats right. I paid my insurance payments for over 25 years and almost never used it. I am healthy and my kids were always healthy but now I'm getting older and I think I could really use that money I gave to insurance. It's roughly about 35,000 dollars that I threw away because NAFTA took my job too. Would you be mad?

America is the melting pot for people who hated being taxed penniless in their home countries and fled to live here.

They get here and devote their heart to the democrat party where they welcome increased taxes to help those less fortunate while never truly finding freedom.

The less fortunate ones... Welfare cases, less educated people, jobless, diabolical criminals, prostitutes, drug users and dealers, union workers and educators all beg for legalizing whatever vice they prefer, then while continually voting for liberals attesting they can legalize the said vices - it never happens.

Why do blue-staters (liberals) never catch on to that?

Please explain the following...

Trade deficit.
Federal deficit.
What about the housing market ?

What about the fact that most households have to have both parents working these days to make ends meet...i'm talking middle class here.., when 10 years ago....you only needed one breadwinner for a 3/2 home 1.5 children and two auto's ?

Also, many of you claim that inflation doesn't exist....however that is the ONLY reason that the fed hasn't began to lower rates again.... Inflation hasn't leveled off yet according to fed chairman Bernake. Cost of living up, average income down = inflation.

Also, I keep hearing about this tax cut that I supposedly got....but i'm looking at my pay stubs from years prior...and i'm just not seeing it here.

If you could explain all of that...that would be great.
