If the war in Afghanistan is factored in, the financial burden of our "war on terror" amounts to about $600 billion so far - with about $10 billion per month spent on Iraq's civil war. And yet, illegal aliens total >20 million in the U.S., with more arriving each day. Given the law of averages, and Al Qaeda's interest in bringing their war to the U.S. (see http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070713/ap_on_go_pr_wh/us_terror_threat;_ylt=AksXOgw6TMjIfh5HGuv0D.bMWM0F), are we really investing our children's money correctly?

i think that all my facts are right. I'm conservative and pro-life. I also support the alexa law. It states that if I kill you/unborn baby i can get charged with 2 murders. here's what doesn't make sense. a liberal woman in kansas is 1 month preggers. she wants an abortion. all her liberal friends/family are like oh it's ok go 4 it. she does it. another liberal woman is 1 month pregnant, but this time she wants the baby. i get in a car wreck w/ her and kill her and the baby. i get charged w/ 2 murders. my point is it's murder only if the woman wants the baby, yet the supreme court stated that unborn children aren't people some 30 years ago i believe. am i the only person that says this law contradicts itself? I don't believe in abortion except in the case where the 9 y/o was raped and got pregnant. she needed the abortion to save her live, also, no 9 y/o should have that kind of trauma.

Working full-time is losing its appeal for American mothers.

In the past decade, the percentage of working mothers who say full-time work is ideal dropped from 32 to 21, according to a new survey by the Pew Research Center. Now, 60 percent of them say they'd rather work part-time, up from 48 percent in 1997.

Likewise, only 16 percent of stay-at-home moms say they'd prefer to work full-time. That's down from 24 percent a decade ago.

Rating themselves on a scale of 1 to 10 on how well they've done at parenting, 43 percent of at-home moms said 9 or 10. Only 28 percent of full-time working moms rated themselves so highly
