This amalgam of Pew Center polls say the Democrats have the largest party identification in 17 years, and the trend shows it still widening. (Cons - that means there are way more of us or lean towards us, than there are of you, or lean towards you)

50% Democrat - 38% Republican Identification.

Please note the divergence started before the Iraq war - right around 9/11 or a little after.

Woudn't the USA be better off without these states. The people in these states are ignorant, they don't know how to vote, and they are unhealthy.

I know the two forms of government are very similar, both are based on the idea that everyone does their part and gets an equal share of the pie. I know that both are about the government controlling everything. And I know that both don't work in practice because people are lazy and won't make an effort if they have no motivation to succeed, so what are the fundamental differences between the two?

The American people do not want to return to the days of tax-and-spend policies," Bush said in his radio address.

Thats right TATERHEAD Americans love BORROW AND SPEND REPUBLICANS WHILE THE WEALTHY GET TAX CUTS. Your great grandchildren will still be paying off the
TRILLION DOLLARS that MR. TATERHEAD borrowed for his personal war in Iraq.

The president, though, has backed away from his veto threat of the politically sensitive bill to fund veterans' programs. It exceeds Bush's request by $4 billion, or 7 percent, but the president acquiesced when GOP lawmakers made it clear that with troops overseas, they were not interested in squaring off with Democrats over spending for veterans.

So Bush was going to cut spending for veterans until the lap dog republicans intervened.

As long as sensible, intelligent, and fair-minded egalitarians are in the majority, and actively oppose those worthless and sociopathic agendas, they ultimately will be as doomed as their equally-bigoted first cousin, segregation. Meanwhile, the RRR continues to seek to:

1 -- FORCE girls and women to gestate UNwanted pregnancies to term against their will. (Which would be a very real, 9-month-long form of rape!)

2 -- FORCE housing discrimination upon people because they are gay, and upon couples who are unmarried and cohabitating.

3 -- BLOCK legislation that would end workplace discrimination against people over the triviality of their being gay.

4 -- DUMB DOWN America's kids by diluting real science with the pseudo-science of creationism.

5 -- DESTROY the vital separation of church and state w/gov't. endorsement of one religion.

SUGGESTIONS welcome on tactics to derail those agendas, and relegate the RRR Cult to history's dustbin, alongside the segregationists.
