I had read an article (I even asked this for one of my questions) that many states (near the end of April of this year) were conducting exercises via computer to see which type disaster americans would respond to with greater fear.
Furthermore, President Bush signed an E.O. on May 9th of this year giving FEMA control over us should a national emergency occur (in any part of the U.S.).
What made this exercise even more fearsome was that there was more than just this country involved.
Sounds likes an impending police state to me.

The next 9/11 attack will be atomic bomb. I don't think they will ever get their hands on a nuclear bomb.
But the Atomic bomb is doable. Then a ship probably in CA port in a large cargo vessel will slide into the shore and while being unloaded go off. the fall out would drift clear across the USA. Killing millions of people in Los Angeles.
It is only a matter of time.
Russia never did that because they were afraid of what we would do back. These people want to die and in a jihad.
That is the only way they can escape hell.
This gets them to the top stages of heaven.
They truly believe that.

Very possibly about six months before the 2008 elections.
Louis (below) is misinformed: an atomic bomb is the same thing as a nuclear bomb. The distinctions in atomic weaponry are: Fusion (atomic, nuclear the same thing); Fission (hydrogen bombs); neutron weapons (a hybrid type). We've only been living in the nuclear age for seventy years now. You'd think people would know these things. And you'd think our leaders and military men would be able to pronounce the word nuclear.

911
is forever tattooed on our backs...it is the primary reason why we have to always watch our backs..
But there will never be another 911. Instead we forsee other means to the end. Someone or ones will likely try something different...like having to do with our water supply or something of that nature. All we have to do is to listen carefully...because the news media (even without realizing it) has a way of zeroing in on upcoming events over a period of a week or so, and then it happens....

I find it very difficult to believe if they could they would have done it already,. As the soldiers are saying coming home from there they hate each other more than they hate us.
what they did was a few guys getting lucky with a box knife.
No one is going to sit still and let them do that again.
I don't believe they are intelligent enough to stop killing each other to think up another terriorist attack.

If another 9/11 happens...or worse. Both parties will be to blame. We need a new party who listens to the people instead of special interest groups. Both republicans and democrats are guilty of that.

If the Republicans nominate any of the boobs currently running, or , God forbid, that troll Thompson, they will have to resort to some desperate October surprise or see themselves consigned to the dustbin of history.
Given their totalitarian leanings, another 9/11 would be likely.
