what a total idiot and hypocrit. The Republican Congress spent money 10 times faster than any Democrat Congress could dream of spending it.

The Chimp George Bozo Bush and his band of Liars have let the United States get 3.35 Trillion Dollars further in debt in 6 short years. Some of you are so inept and blind sided by what is actually hapenning to understand that the United States is living on borrowed money and will eventually have to pay it back. As well if the EURO replaces the USD for international trade you will be in more trouble as you will more than likely go into a recession with high inflation rates because the US economy will then crater big time.

Why do you use the Republican Congress to represent Bush on economics? That Congress didn't implement much of anything Bush said he supported, except the tax cuts. Very fiscally Conservative to implement tax cuts.

I thought the same thing. He probably is just trying to trick many Republicans into believing he is one of them. Fox would glorify as always and Bush just meant that because he will veto any Democratic bill but if is a Republican bill then he is willing to accept it.

What he actually said isn't that hypocritical:

"The American people do not want to return to the days of tax-and-spend policies," Bush said in his radio address.

His administration did NOT engage in TAX and spend policies. They engaged in BORROW FROM CHINA AND PUT THE WAR ON A CREDIT CARD and spend policies.

So you see, there's a big difference there.

I'll bet you're financially better off than you were 5 yrs ago. Look around. The economy is BOOMING, the stock markets are setting record highs and all anyone can talk about is how bad the president is. Seems to me he's got things working pretty good.

You are correct. That is why the Republicans do not control Congress anymore.
