Where is the world outrage that I heard only a few months ago when Israel was fighting these same people? They are evil now and they were evil then.

As an Englishman who has recently returned from the USA, i feel i must ask this question. Most Americans who i met on my travels live in corrugated iron dwellings and have no running water. This is a far cry from lights and showbiz of the city which is just a facade for T.V.

did he not think about this before invading it? as such, was the invasion worth the risk of americans to free Iraqis from a dictator?

If he did not foresee that terrorists would come to Iraq after the invasion then it was just another flip fop from his side for not looking at all possibilities. Afterall, we were with war with his bumper sticker "WAR ON TERROR". So he should have know better.

It is widely speculated that Iran my be aiding our enemies in both Iraq and Afghanistan. What can the United States do to stop this without widening the war and opening up more fronts? And without causing economic and political instability in the region?

How do we deal with Iran?

To me it makes common sense that man has something to do with it. Think of the billions of cars putting all that emission up into the atmosphere and neocons would lead us to believe that there is no chemical reaction with the atmosphere.

I'd have to say no. They didn't report about the freedom we are spreading, or the schools we are building. Seems violence is on the rise after all.

Do we have to twist people's necks to see the truth (light) as Plato illustrated in his "cave of allegory?" Did this neck twisting cost the lives of 3000 civilians, 343 firefighters and 24 cops? Is not John Carpenter's movie "They Live" another good example of the same allegory, especially concerning 9/11? Remember the scene where Roddy Piper has to beat Keith David in order for him to put the glasses on? Piper was trying to get David to see the reality instead of the shadows (illusion) on the cave's wall. Is this metaphor apropos with the reality facing us today versus the shadows of illusion? Do you see shadows? Or, do you see reality respective of 9/11?! Are we the reality? Or, is Osama the illusion?

You conservatives and liberals really get under my skin. Don't you realize that you are both just two sides of the same coin? Its the same government. You both are just tools. Each side is just controlled opposition, consuming political propoganda. You ***** about rights, and protection. Libs want gone control. Guns are the civilians only defense against tyranny. You conservatives want prolife. Frankly if I get raped and pregnant that fetus is dead. I'm "removing" it... whatever the sugar coated doublespeak is now. You both need to just govern yourselves. The government can't make your decisions for you.

If this gets deleted this system is flawed.

"President Clinton is once again releasing American military might on a foreign country with an ill-defined objective and no exit strategy. He has yet to tell the Congress how much this operation will cost. And he has not informed our nation's armed forces about how long they will be away from home. These strikes do not make for a sound foreign policy."-Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA)

"No goal, no objective, not until we have those things and a compelling case is made, then I say, back out of it, because innocent people are going to die for nothing. That's why I'm against it." -Sean Hannity, Fox News, 4/5/99

"American foreign policy is now one huge big mystery. Simply put, the administration is trying to lead the world with a feel-good foreign policy." -Representative Tom Delay (R-TX), 1999

"If we are going to commit American troops, we must be certain they have a clear mission, an achievable goal and an exit strategy." -Karen Hughes, speaking on behalf of George W. Bush

ok, i've heard a lot of answers........

i personally thought jfk was the best, but many people on this site happen to disagree with me. sorry, but i still like him.
reagan.........nah
nixon............the name speaks for himself
FDR..........don't know too much abou him but i heard he was pretty good. he gets the rap with locking of japanese prisoners. but we were at a war right? and not some skirmish like iraq, but a real war. japan was NOT our friend during WWII. how was he as a person? did he "cheat" on his wife?
ABE.......he's the complete opposite of JFK. while i like jfk and people disagree with me, people seem to like abe and i disagree with them.
