From reading the conservative Yahoos, it would appear that many people do. And I find it odd that these are young people.
Young people are not supposed to be brainwashed into conformity. They are supposed to question, resist and think for themselves.
I think three generations of boob tube have pretty much destroyed the courage and imagination of Americans.

A news station is slanted right they are fake. They are slanted left and they have no agenda and are spewing forth truth. Flip thru the cable news channels and take a look at the actual facts of the stories. They are ALL the same. Cable news is about drawing in ratings and none of them are more or less slanted then the others.
Some of you libs really think that these internet news sites or foreign news sites are soooo much less biased. HA HA HA. Every news site has their biases and their reasons for existing. It amazes me how people think because its on the internet it is more true or more fair. It amazes me given how many european nations are state owned or sponsored that you people think they are more balanced and less bias. If anything state sponsored news is more biased and internet news is more prone to inaccuracy because there are less people able to call them on their distortions and untruths.
If you want a "fair and balances" approach to news than you have to read and watch a variety of news shows and papers and sites and not just the ones that agrees with everything you want it to say.

well... if you want to get into a debate about "Lies & distortion" lets talk first about Liberalism greatest ideologue Keith Olbermann. In his world, there is no such thing as terrorist.. its just republican scare tactics used to keep the public in fear.... its "Fear Mongering" yeah.. but Global warming has no scare tactics huh... nope ITS A CONSENSUS, its DATA, this is nature... your a holocaust denier if you dont believe you big oil war monger you.... you obviously watch this guy hence the lamo catch phrase... that guy dedicates his life smearing and disecting everything bill o'reilly has ever said... i mean, people should have some respect for Bill O' even if you dont agree with him.. the personal attacks this guy makes on a daily basis is really malicious and low... the other day he even took a shot at him and his wife
but theres a broader issue here.... you can debate that Fox News' stardards of journalism are raised due to their slogan.... and debate that they dont have such far left liberals on their shows... but if you want to be fair.... just like the stupid (FAIR) Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting. Why dont they dissect and investigate every news channel and review their fairness.... why is it that fox news is the lone currupt conspiritor in all of this? cuz i know for damn sure CBS ABC & NBC are completely liberaly bias, and CNN COMPLETELY distorts any news on Communist Dictators across the globe. So lets not be bias ourselves and not koolaid drink was is being thrown in a superbowl size gatorade cooler for once...

I try to give Fox the benefit of the doubt. I watch once a day until I hear a lie. This year I have watched Fox for 37 seconds.

I have a policy not to listen to any News station which have not checked out their facts before their air their stories. I won't listen to CBS evening news because of the propaganda they spread about president Bush not serving in the military. Just as I won't watch fox news because they took a story out of a right wing internet site, stating the Obama was Muslim, and attended Muslims schools when he was younger. So NO I WOULD NOT WATCH ANY NEWS STATION WHICH SPREAD PROPAGANDA. Even with an apology and a retake of the story the damage has been done. People still believe he is Muslim.

I absolutely watch Fox News, but then, I've always been a fan of truth in news reporting and an even bigger fan of supporting your editorials and opinions with facts, something the Communist News Network and others can't do.

Example please.
At least when FOX has a roundtable discussion, they have more than 1 liberal on there. When CNN does it, they have 1 token conservative and 3 or 4 liberals drowning them out.

Lies and distortions can ultimately sum up any form of "news."
So what's your point?

NO! What a way to enlist more viewers - be as negative, and ugly as possible - the people will eat it up! It's sad, because there is too much truth in that idea.
I can tell you watch, listen, or view MSNBC "Countdown" - Good for you! I really love the way Keith Olbermann says it, like it is!
