Clinton's my hero even though what happened to those 32 American kids is far worse.

How long did those kids scream while burning as Clinton sat in the White House?

This won't happen again under Hillary. Right?

Is that support non-partisan? In other words, if a Dem wins the next Presidential election, will you show him or her the support you want everyone to show Bush?

I remember the days and weeks after that horrific day. I would bust out crying on the bus, at home, at work.....

I had what I now know was survivors' guilt. I couldn't understand why those innocent people were all day. I couldn't wrap my mind around it. I wasn't near the Trade Center that day but I did see it with my own eyes from the mall I worked at which overlooked the skyline.

Til this day I still get sad when I think about it. The fear, the anxiety, the realization that nothing will EVER be the same ever again.

Terrorism, which was always a foreign word to me prior to 9/11, was now an everyday word for Americans.

343 firefighters died that day, thousands of loved ones lost; some never to be found.

I know I'm asking a lot of 9/11-related questions today. It's because a couple of months ago I realized that they sequence of days this year matches the year 2001. This September 11 will fall on a Tuesday for the first time since that fateful day.

* Palestine is now in the middle of a civil war, with the Fatahs and Hamas trying to gain control of the country. Meanwhile guerilla violence is still being exchanged on the Gaza Strip between Palestians and Israelians
* The US is now arming Sunni insurgents to battle Al Quaeda, a Sunni insurgent network. Will arming the enemy of our enemy help us in the long turn or will they turn their guns elsewhere after wiping out Al Quaeda?

* Syria is supporting Palestian rejectionary groups and could possibly be still funding Hezbollah, Hamas and other anti-Israelian terrorist networks. US relations with Syria have not improved since the diplmotic fallout wiht Bush and the subsequent criticism of Pelosi's un-related responsibilities to normalize ties with the Syrian government

* Iran is playing an ever crucial role to the stability with Iraq. Just a few weeks ago, Iran finally engaged in bilateral talks with the US over Iraq, effectively severing the 27-year old silence. Given the proximity of the need to fashion a political strategy, the US backed away from any talks over Iran's capabilities of promoting a nuclear proliferation and instead focussed on stabiliizng Iraq. The Iranian President Ahjdimejad is raising his own warmongering rhetoric over Israel, while reformist and moderate factions within Iran contend to normalize relations with both the US and Israel. Iran is accused of supporting Palestian rejectionary groups, terrorist networks against Israel and funding the insurgency for Sunni networks. Recently, a senior US diplomat official accused Iran of funnelling money and weapons to the Taliban-- a traditional enemy of Iran. In 2001, the Iranian government with President Khatami expressed interests of wiping out the Taliban network in Afghanistan and working with the US in a collaborative effort, however given the Bush administration's glacial response and the subsequent unsavory label of "Axis of Evil" Iran was part of the global war on terrorism.

* Turkey is now involved in the Iraq quagmire as it sends its troops to keep away the Kurds.

* Israel's relationship with Iran has elevated from low-key hostility to an almost inevitable brink to war. Israelian ciricles are discussing over the possibility of using the "Samson Option" if Iran raises its provocations even further with more vocal threats. Israel is still the only country with a nuclear weapon in the ME.

* US troops are being sanwhiched in a three-ring conflict with insurgents battling out each other.

What post-Bush administration policy do you wish to see in the Middle East and what do cause/effect do you expect to see from the outcome of such a policy? Obviously, the neoconservatives' arguments of pre-emptive actions will fail to produce any desirable results in the end. If we are to combat against terrorism, we obviously need to maximize our utility of options on the table and by doing this we need more effective diplomacy.

Hilary, you proudly proclaim to America that this is not your war. But it was you who signed the legislation allowing America to go to war, if the president deemed it worthy. You also voted to fund the war . Yet, it is still not your war? How convenient for you. Please tell the rest of America how you can acquire such rights. It would be helpful for the times that we blunder as badly! This way we can cosign documents that allow someone to buy a home, if they deem it worthy. If we later find it to be worth more than the cost, we can lay claim to it. If we later find it to be worthless, we are not responsible for the cost. Sounds brilliant. Unfortunately some of the ceo's in America ran their companies the same way. It worked out well for them, but not for the company and it's stockholders. You shouldn't be running for president. John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan would not behave in such a way. At least they took responsibility when they blundered. Candidates from both partys are far more honest and responsible than you are, Hilary. You do not replace one irresponsible president by electing another!

I Googled "Best British Reataurants in London", and got this link:

http://www.squaremeal.co.uk/restaurants/london/search.php?Sel_ID=94

The web page says their are only 15.

When I did the same thing for New York city, it sent me to Zagat, and listed thousands of great restaurants.

So I had to conclude that the Brits drove through the chunnel to France just to get a good meal.

PETA is a huge supporter of the democrats and would love free universal health coverage for animals . Do you think this is a wise idea? Should Americans be paying for cats to get spayed? Will this cause a increase in illegal Mexican animal immigrants seeking free health care? If a person in Tijuana has a dog that breaks it's leg, they probably would take it to San Diego to get it fixed for free, right? I think this idea is just too much of a burden on the taxpayer.

The House of Representatives passed a bill which closes loopholes which prevented the National Criminal Background Check System from finding the VA Tech shooter, thus allowing him to purchase a gun and kill 32 people.
Yahoo has a headline calling it a Gun-Control Bill when it has NOTHING to do with gun control. In fact, the bill was endorsed by the NRA and you all know how they feel about 2nd Amendment Rights.
Are they pandering to the Gun-Control crowd or just too stupid to understand what went on in Congress yesterday?

These weapons of mass destruction virtually ring the country, concealed off at least 11 states - six on the East Coast, two on the Gulf Coast, California, Hawaii and Alaska. Few, if any, state officials were ever informed of their existence.

Duncan Hunter notes on his website that Congress will be violating previous legislation over constructing a border fence which is supposed to cover 854 miles. Regardless of whether or not other sources are right in saying it's actually 700 miles, and regardless of how little construction is currently being appropriated for (370 miles), what could any President do to negotiate with Congress over full execution of The Secure Fence Act of 2006?

Will Hillary's forced universal health care plan pay for all non-parental notification teen abortions? If it doesn't, will liberals still support it? What kind of health coverage doesn't pay for a 14 year old girl to have a late term abortion because she is mentally depressed? Not a very good one by liberal standards!

By now the majority of Americans have figured out that the whole Iraq thing is a fiasco, and wish to be through with it. One thing keeping us there is fear that once we leave, the whole place will turn to chaos and more killing. But why should we care?

The Shiites and the Sunnis WANT to have it out. I say, LET THEM! Why should we put ourselves in the middle of it? The Iraqi people are not worth a single drop of American blood.

Worst case analysis: Shiites kill Sunnis, Sunnis kill Shiites. BOTH hate us, so wouldn't we be better off with fewer of them, if they killed each other and not us?

Better case analysis: Once we leave, there'll be no reason for a nationalist insurgency, so the violence will DECREASE. They could step back from sectarian civil war and come to some sort of modus vivendi, without either one being accused of being a US puppet or sellout.

But to quote the Moody Blues (1965)|: "Go Now!"
