From what I've seen, it generally comes out of the liberals' mouths.

They're attacking the person, rather than the problem/issue. That tells me the attackers have no plan of their own.

.....which tells me a lot about THEIR capabilities.

There is always someone who won't be pleased with what the watch or listen to. The real truth is "It's just music". We make music for our own enjoyment. Some people, prefer to write about politics, and terrorism, and stuff like that. Toby Keith for example. But the thing is, in this country, you not only have the freedom of religion. You have the freedom of speech. Freedom of speech.. includes music. But the only thing holding a song back about how much they love satan, is a record producer's fear of ratings. Few people would find some songs like that enjoyable.. but many might. And also remember, the Beatles? Most of their songs don't mean a blessed thing. But Don McLean's American Pie, is a story between the lines. When you are listening to these songs you find controversial.. look into them. Some of them don't make a single shred of sense, but some have a story, or a cry for help within the lines. You'd be surprised. But to be honest, i don't think there is anything anybody can do about it... everyone has their freedom of religion and freedom of speech in this country. Which means, they could do alot of things... which includes hating a religion and putting that hate into a song. But this would be an interesting question to ask a band, or a music producer. Why do you market such racist and prejudice music?

In all cases, the content in which the words are used determine the words' connotation.

When used as a means to evoke emotion, or denigrate, it says to me that the person using them have little to say, and are missing some fundamental education in decorum.

Furthermore, they likely cannot adequately defend their position with a factual basis, and must rely on emotional blackmail to make their poor point.

A wise person, will be guided by emotion, not ruled by it.

Maybe, I say this too often, but it really goes back to the raising of our children. When our teachers spend so much time indoctrinating our children on PC social issues, and parents allow this atrocity to continue . . . the basic education that our children SHOULD be receiving, is lost.

For instance, I've had long conversations with people over the difference between calling someone a name, and qualifying a persons behavior. A comprehensive English class should teach these subtleties.

In essence, I suppose the short answer is that they lack education, in both academics and propriety.

That they're a hateful, ignorant retard.

Just kidding.

I think the language we choose with which to communicate says a lot about us.

When people can't properly punctuate a sentence, or even recognize the correct usage of words like "your" or "you're," it tells me that they are to be taken less seriously because they don't even know how to get their thoughts across clearly.

The same goes for the level of the vocabulary people choose to use.

"Ignorant" is iffy. Some people are ignorant, which merely means uneducated on a specific subject.

"Retard" is a childish thing to call someone.

"Hate" is not up to others to determine. It is irresponsible to tell other people (people you've never met) that they "hate" something based only on the comments they make here. "Hate" is an overused word that has become almost meaningless in our society.

Retard and hate have no useful purposes and shows the lack of intelligence of the user..on occasion the word ignorant may have a useful purpose aside from simply being used as an insult.

All the nasty schoolyard type catch phrases tell me right away that it's a person with little education and even less natural intelligence. Can I add libtard, lieberal moonbats, and Hitlery to the list? All in the same ballpark, and all from people who I doubt could find their own *** with both hands.

I try not to answer questions with those words in them. These are usually angry people and they want all of us to be angry with them. I refuse to be part of their tirades.

I don't mind well thought out questions even if they are not the same views as mine but I will not play into the hands of someone who is just spewing hate and anger.

It says that that person hasn't evolved to the point of being conscious of what exactly is bothering him/her. Like a baby, you know? Cry, cry, cry, but we never know the justification for complaint, if there is any at all.
