I Googled "Best British Reataurants in London", and got this link:

http://www.squaremeal.co.uk/restaurants/london/search.php?Sel_ID=94

The web page says their are only 15.

When I did the same thing for New York city, it sent me to Zagat, and listed thousands of great restaurants.

So I had to conclude that the Brits drove through the chunnel to France just to get a good meal.

LOL!

lvillejj. The "chunnel" is the channel tunnel. You can take the train from England to France through the Channel Tunnel.

I think they usually go to their Indian takeaways. They'd much rather have curry and palak paneer than steak and kidney pie and bangers and mash.

Only on the anniversary of D Day to remind the sniveling French that without them...the cuisine would be beer and brautworst.
