The most glaring weakness of the schedule is the nearly 2.5 hour gap between 8:35 and 11:00 PM where Kennedy is not proposing a toast.

The "truth" in this makes it both funny and sad. I can't decide if I want to laugh or cry . . .
I think the repub outline stretches for the truth, and is less funny for the effort.
I like both last lines though, purely fiction but purely humorous!

I have read it before AND it is still funny.
You know what upsets Liberals about it? There is a grain of truth in each one. Of course, that is also what makes it funny.
The person who did the one for the Republicans has NO imagination. She more or less copied yours and substituted Republican's names for Democrats.
Ah, but we both knew before hand that Liberals are really kind of short on sense of humor. That is why Al Franken bombed on Air America. I never thought he was particularly funny on SNL, but at least there someone with a sense of humor wrote the script! Thank you.
