Why would you want a person to kill another. Castro has done nothing to the U.S. since back in the 1960's which was probably before you were born. Many of the Cuban people love their leader. It has not been a Cuban problem for many years. Now it is a case of the bully beating up the little guy.

1.) It's against the law to assassinate a head of state. (Does not apply when leader is killed in the course of combat during wartime.)
2.) The rest of the world has good relations with the Castro regime, so killing him would only make things worse, not better. (See Iraq.)
3.) Regardless of what exiles in the US may claim, most Cuban citizens still on the island are content with the socialist system.
4.) He is more likely to succumb to failing health than at the hands of someone else's wrath.

Though you wouldn't get the impression from the media, Fidel Castro is quite popular in Cuba, having raised the standard of living for the lower classes, the literacy rate, and the standards of health care in his country by leaps and bounds. The anti-Castro movement are largely wealthy ex-patriates in Miami whose property was nationalized by Fidel when he came to power. I think even the majority of the opposition are reasonable people who wouldn't resort to assassination to achieve their political goals, but of course there are exceptions. There are always sickos who want to assassinate for political reasons.
The CIA has made numrous attempts on Castro's life ever since the early 1960's but all have resulted in failure, giving Castro the added moral position of being able to thumb his nose at his big bad neighbor to the north, increasing his popularity with his people. The US embargo, ineffective as it has been at isolating Cuba from the global economy, has also served to increase Castro's standing among Cubans.

At this point Miami and southern Florida are filled with Cuban exiles that would and will move back there once he is gone. His brother is not the man that Fidel is and will eventually wilt under the pressure from the US and the exiles and from his old age.
The USA would love to make Cuba a US territory just they did with Puerto Rico.

Several reasons.
1. They have tried, and failed. It is easier said than done.
2. Many countries have good relations with Cuba. Killing Castro would cause an international scandal that would scar the reputation and respect of the nation that carried it out.
3. It would likely not fix anything anyway. A coup would likely occur, and that could result in widespread violence and death and further economic upheaval worse than what they already suffer from. In the end, someone just like him would likely take his place.
4. He is dying anyway. No point in wasting the resources now.

Castro is seen by many Cubans as a liberator, not allowing the US to dictate to Cuba how it's own government should be run. Ignore the propaganda. Communism isn't wrong, it's just different.
