yeah how dare Bush even think of giving Libby a pardon. Lets look at the terrible crime Libby was found guilty of. First off he was not the one who was accused of leaking the identity of an alleged covert agent. The one who was accused was never prosecuted Because there was never any evidence that she was covert. The prosecutor found Libby guilty of inconsistencies in his testimony based on what others said he said 6 months ago. Heck I don't ever remember what exactly I told my wife yesterday or if I paid the phone bill last week. If I am ever indited I may as well just walk over to the jail and surrender. It was a witch hunt that worked by the Dems. It was a ridiculous and sad display of how our justice system can be twisted. For him to get a 250 thousand dollar fine and 2 and a half years in prison based on someones memory of what he said exactly 6 months ago about someone when there wasn't even a crime committed in the first place contrasted by what Sandy Burger did and what he got is amazing to me. Burger was caught red handed stealing classified documents from the library of congress. He plea bargained his sentence down to a 25 hundred dollar fine and 200 hours of community service which by the way 3 years later he hasn't done one hour of. But you libs see that as justice. lol please beam me up Scottie there is no intelligent life here!

President Bush has stated that he will give the Justice System time to work. He won't leave him in jail long. End of the month tops my guess. Why appease the Hill and others who defy him so radically? I say pardon him. That's what Clinton did. Or his committed suicide.

how do you compare libby to the excesses clinton got off for...

- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
- First president to establish a legal defense fund.
- First president to be held in contempt of court
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court
kinda smacks of hypocracy dont you think liberal?
bush has no reason to give him a pardon so your question has no logic and therefore has no answer.l;
