What do you see as the pros and cons in mixing religion with politics?
Moral behavior is a necessity for a successful culture. For many cultures, religion provides that moral base.
There is a distinct difference, however, between a sin against God and a sin against man.
How exactly should religion factor into politics, if at all?

Why is it NOT OK?

For Us Religious People To believe In God...
Why Does the Tolerant Left give us such a hard time about it.?

Why Is it that my Faith is absurd to them
yet It their theory is absurd to me and thats not tolerated by them!

Shouldn't they just feel happy that theirs is allowed to be taught in Public schools and mine is not...

If Liberals believe in Scientology, how can they be trusted with anything?

WTF? Who believes this crap you might ask...well, liberals do. Tom Cruise, Oprah Winfrey, Matt Lauer, etc...Prominent liberals actually buy into this crap, and yet expect Americans to trust what they say on issues of importance.

And they actually reject proven economic facts like capitalism and free markets. No wonder they struggle to identify with normal people. They are so far out in Left feild.

Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton liquidated the contents of their blind trust upon learning it contained investments of $5 million to $25 million that could pose conflicts of interest or prove to be embarrassing to her presidential campaign.
The blind trust held stock in pharmaceutical companies, including $250,000-$500,000 in Biogen Idec and Johnson & Johnson and $100,000-$250,000 in Amgen, Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline. It also invested in General Electric and Raytheon, two leading defense contractors. The trust had a varied portfolio, with investments in numerous other companies, including Exxon Mobil, BP Amoco, Walt Disney and eBay.

Hmmm...Defense (WEAPONS) contractors, Drug Companies and Big oil.............

They should have bought stock in Hypocrisy Inc.

Why should we trust the Republicans about anything since a majority doubt the theory of Evolution?

While evolution is a scientific theory , it has facts supporting it from a broad range of life science disciplines. There are absolutely NO COMPETING THEORIES with which to doubt evolution.
Republicans are full of other false beliefs like it's possible to defeat terrorism, capitalism is the only best system for everything ect., taxes are always too high ect. Of course, Hard core Republicans are proof if you tell a lie often enough, such as we are right to had conquered Iraq, regardless of reason, they'll believe it because their leaders tell them what to believe.

It's funny how Republican bozos want creationism to be taught in a science class, but do you think they would ever want it taught where socialism had succeeded? Of course not. They are so rigid in their beliefs that to even attempt to reason with them is futile, their ability to compromise comes only where they lack the power to ram their system down everyone's throat.
