Yes, that does seem odd. Privatizing education would allow poor kids some of the same advantages rich kids have had for generations.

I'm a Republican Because...
I BELIEVE the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person’s dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.
I BELIEVE in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age or disability.
I BELIEVE free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity.
I BELIEVE government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.
I BELIEVE the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations and that the best government is that which governs least.
I BELIEVE the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.
I BELIEVE Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.
I BELIEVE Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.
FINALLY, I believe the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.

Well i guess its people making a quick decision about you based on your beliefs. Name calling is your proof that whomever is doing the name calling is losing. Out of curiosity what do you think would be accomplished by building a fence on our southern border? Honestly.
I am far from rich myself and i agree with privatizing education, maybe for different reasons than you. Brainwashing being one of them, it tends to take the form of liberal brainwashing.

Because they believe the garbage that rich liberals put out. The majority of conservatives work hard and are no where near spoiled, if they want to see spoiled, check out Kerry, Kenedy and Clinton. None of them actually earned their money.

Typically Liberals resort to personal attacks when they cannot argue the facts of a matter.
I think a deep, deep ditch is a better plan than a fence, though. Someone suggested we could take the dirt and use it to build up New Orleans.

Its easier to insult than it is to deal with the issues. Its typical of most weak arguments.
Its why liberals attack and slander industries and people, such as BIG OIL, Karl Rove, etc.
It makes it easier to justify their position instead of considering competing ideas.
Shrink, I love your idea. Perhaps we could move the grand canyon :D

Perhaps its the 'privatize educatiion' part. I dont have a pot to piss in & I would like to see a fence built, or a HUGE moat with hungry crocs in it.
