No small country can test a long range missile without it being aimed at another country which could be considered an act of aggression. I wonder how feasible it would be to declare a world-wide neutral zone where any country could aim long range missles for testing. It would be better than what there is now, just aiming it where ever to test it.

I just put this together (although I'm sure someone has thought of it before).

Using Atlanta MPA as a sample city, the average family makes $21,000 / year.(1) Therefore, Republican tax cuts save them $9 annually. (2).

The rise in gas prices will cost that same family $5772. (3) Thus a net savings of - $ 5763.

Is it any wonder that, despite good numbers, people aren't thrilled with the economy.

OK, to invade Iraq all it took was a few bad Intel reports of WMD's and a few incursions in the no-fly zone and a accusation of being involved with terrorists and off we went to Iraq. Now here we have North Korea.A nation we never stopped being at war with.Just a very long cease fire.A nation who has threatened us.A nation that we have a huge amount of Intel that proves they have a nuclear missile program that gives them the strongest WMD around and they don't deny it and now have test fired 7 of them in violation to international laws. They have made more threats against the US then any country has in ten years. They have stated any sanction against them will result in war-a clear threat. They have been known to sell WMD's to questionable nations at best. And they are the most likely nation to be the biggest threat to the western sea-board of the Continental US.What else does North Korea have to do?Is it because they don't have any oil that Bush stalls on action or what?

I have never voted along any party line. I vote for the person but something happens when they get into office. It seems to be more important to vote the party line or according to the polls and they can always say 'I've grown and have changed my opinion about what I felt a year or six months ago.

Why are so many average American so adament about their 'party' and feel they have to agree and defend their party on EVERY issue? Why do people vote on one issue only?
We have all got start to think for ourselves and look at both sides of issues with an open mind.

I've changed my mind on several issues but not because they convinced me but I've tried to reason things thru and came to different conclusions but nothing is set in stone.

I really asked this question:

What do we have to do now to win in Iraq?
Can anyone explain what exactly has to be done by American troops
at this point to allow the new Iraqi government to function on its own?

NOT ONE CONSERVATIVE PROVIDED A DAMN THING WORTH REPEATING.That proves it.It's all about using war to feel tough and justify hatefulness with the conservatives, and its all about peace with the "liberals" of all stripes.
Thanks therandman for confirming that YOU HAVE NO ANSWER.

Gonna sleep good tonight with a clear conscience.Thanks.

Can anyone help me understand why the people of Mass. continue to vote this man into the Senate. How can he continue to attack others? I don't know if he sobered up or not but he still acts a raving, self-righteous alcoholic. I'm absolutely amazed everytime he opens his mouth.

Personally, I say scerw the UN (its been 2 days and they still don't know if they want to make a stupid statement or not) and we send a couple of our missles over there (they actually work) and blow up the remaining missles on the launch pad. If that little fuzz ball over there wants to start a war, let him. What is he going to do? They can't beat us. We don't even have to put a foot in their country to win. Our Navy and Air Force can do it. He had his chance back in 98 to stop (he said he would with Clinton) and yet, the little fuzz ball's ego has shot up again. But what do I know? I'm just a regular American. What do you think?
