Sometimes we ignore politician’s rhetoric as simply an embellishment to get votes, much as we ignore fans claims of who is going to win an upcoming game.

Since Kerry repeated this so many times I’m wondering how many actually believed his claim when he was running for president. Be honest.

If you did believe it, explain your knowledge of the Great Depression. Such as, did people actually starved to death or was it more like they couldn’t afford to buy their favorite music.

I find many democrats have a lot of "opinions" of how the war is not working and identify numerous mistakes however; I have yet to find their war policy or platform on the subject. With such strong opinions, I am sure they have a political platform of how they would run the war. I just haven't seen it.

I always hear Republicans and so called conservatives say "ooh their providing support to the enemy because they don't see this war like I do". Is'nt it my God given right as an American to speak out against something I see as a mistake in war or anything else in this country or should I just shut up and not care if I think my leaders are doing wrong. Pretty much what they're saying is that they don't care that soldiers have died to give us a right to participate in our nation's actions, we should just shut up and stop acting like this is a democracy, why don't we just remake the stars and stripes into a hammer and sickle like some of these people want. It's bad enough we have to fight that kind of fascist garbage overseas, but we have to put up with it over here too, why don't these people realise what country they're in and just put up with it like we've been doing for the past 200 years. It kind of says something about the Republican party if you ask me.I say honor those brave souls

How is it freedom of diversity if we can only have white presidents? Whats up with the women not being able to being president either, (they probably would manage it better than us) all the other countries may have women presidents, but we're not allowed to because...?

There are many women out there today who are completely capable of doing the job, but I'm not sure any of them would get the votes they need. It's still a man's world, even if we don't want to believe it.

If you think 'Yes', then by what mandate do you think this responsibility is put on America. Please go beyond the 'might is right' and 'cause we are the best of the best' theories.

If you think 'No', then why not, considering that America certainly has resources at its disposal to bring change.

Note: Please also define what you consider the world's evils to be.

Is it only me or there are others like me?

Feminism is largely responsible for women in today's workplace, which is good. However, now a two salary household is a have-to-have, not a nice-to-have, and kids spend more time without a parent than ever before. And it shows. So is feminism, on some level, responsible for the breakdown of family life?

With some of our troops on two and three re-deployments, they are in much need of a rest. The more often these same troops are re-deployed, the greater the chance that they will be injured or killed. I hear a lot of people saying this war is the right thing to do so I think that you should be willing to put your convictions to the test. These men and women willing went into the military. However, the numbers are down and so is recruitment. How many of you are considering enlisting or have already done so? And why you have, will or won't.

I've broke Yahoo!'s balls on my blog a number of times for the bias they show with misleading and outright lying headlines they display on their home page (that they clearly add to AP and Reuters stories on their own), as well as other obvious forms of bias... and I barely scratch the surface. But this is a new low... Giving Al Gore a propaganda soap box at the trendy new Yahoo! Answers? Please explain yourself Yahoo! I'm not even going to get in to what a pile "global warming" is, but please tell me why Gore get's this special treatment?

Say you like classical music and listen to it on Pubic Radio.

According to all the right-wing regurgitation in these forums Public Radio and Television is Liberal biased. So, if you like classical music and listen to Public Radio then you must be a Liberal. If you’re a Liberal then you must be a Socialist. If you’re a Socialist then you must be a Communist intent on destroying our American way of life. If you’re a Liberal / Socialist / Communist then you must also a baby killing gay marriage supporter and anti-war pacifist.

You following me so far?

Okay, then let’s mention Laura Bush. She listens to Public Radio. So, according to all the right-wing regurgitation and logic in see in these forums then the wife of our President must be a Liberal Baby Killing Pinko.

I’m kind of slow so perhaps some of you good people can pick out the flaw in their logic for me.

Thank you.
