There are many women out there today who are completely capable of doing the job, but I'm not sure any of them would get the votes they need. It's still a man's world, even if we don't want to believe it.

Now that women can vote I think we are half way there. If a woman was to run for president I am sure the many women that can vote will make the difference. But I am still under suspicion that voting is just put there to make the public happy it still comes down to power rather than the people.

In a heartbeat! I'm still perplexed about the ignorant pre-conceptions some of us have about women and minorities NOT BEING suited for the job! All one has to do is examine the imbecile that has been an absolute EMBARRASSMENT to the position of presidency for the past six years, and the realization is immediate that my CHIA PET could do a better job than George W. Bush!! I, too can't WAIT until Mrs. Rodham Clinton takes the oath of office in January of 2009!!

I would vote for a female president that could get the job done, not just because she is a woman

Yes, I would, and I think that a woman would be just as capable as a man when it comes to making strong decisions and being the Commander in Chief.

Wow, purely yet another slanted question, the position we are saying sure and performance shown a lack of our 'testicles' by doing so. And manly features like transferring ahead with out questioning issues by is what we may truly have? Oh, I forgot, we at present have that President. you've to take his image down out of your bathing room wall now... what a shame.

hell no a woman could not make a decision on what to do if we needed to use military force if needed to for war or not. don't get me wrong i think a woman has the right to do any job she is capable of, but not as a president that's a mans job. you have to be strong in your decisions

Yep, if Condelezza Rice was on a ballot, she would have my vote. I don't think that we as Americans will ever get this chance to vote a female into office.

Yes, but she would have to sell me. I've had a female boss that was exceptional ...but every 28 days or so things got a little out of hand. If it was between her and Bush I would choose her hands down.
