I would think they are but, since they are the rulers of some radical muslems, what is the real deal?

I think the Saudi Royals walk a tightrope. They want to be friends of the U.S., but they are surrounded by people that hate us. If they appear too friendly, they will catch hell for it. Bin Laden hates the Saudi Royals and would like nothing more than to see their death.
But keep in mind, Saudi has the strictest form of Islam in the muslim world. And the royal family is in the middle of it. It goes contrary to all western culture. So the Royals could not possibly condone western culture. They are muslims and they follow the Koran in a most strict sense. We are infidels to them, nothing more.

seriously dude-they came to America in NYC right after the twin towers were struck and gave a speech about how America was helping Isreal and not the Palestinians then gve mayor Gulianni $10,000,000 which he gave back. 19 of the 20 homocide bombers were Saudi. What do you believe now my friend?

Sure they are friends, why else they are using the saudi grounds for US military use. Also like a member said Where there is Oil there has to be USA.

Yes. Rulers of KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) are good friends of USA. Its in mutual business interests. Both doesnt care really about people (read terrorists)
